• TV Serial Bharathi Kannamma to go off-air, Bharathi Kannamma has at the end of the climax, and the show makers announced that Bigg Boss Tamil 6 fame Shivin and popular film actor RJ Balaji will appear in the special episode. Popular television serial Bharathi Kannamma will end its journey soon. The special climax episode of the daily soap will air soon, and according to reliable sources, BB Tamil 6 fame Shivin and popular film actor RJ Balaji will play a cameo in the climax.
  
• The show which premiered in February 2019 is going to end after airing over 1825 episodes. Bharathi Kannamma is indeed a remake of the Malayalam series Karuthamuthu and was quite popular among the audience.
  
• The show featured Vinusha Devi (as Kannamma), Arun Prasad, (as Bharathi), Farina Azad (as Venba), Roopa Sree (as Soundarya) and others in important roles. The performances by actors Vinusha, Arun, and Sahana Farina Azad were much appreciated by the audience. Actress Vinush later joined the show replacing Roshini Haripriyan asr Kannamma.

• The show is all about Kannamma, a pure-hearted girl who is looked down upon by her beautiful stepsister, Anjali, and stepmother, Bhagyalakshmi, due to her dark complexion. Her father, however, supports and praises her kind nature. Soundarya is a business tycoon who is obsessed with Eurocentric beauty and when Anjali wins the Miss Chennai competition, she plans her younger son Akhilan's wedding with her. Akhilan has an instant liking for Anjali, but the latter likes his brother, Bharathi. During this love triangle, Bharathi and Kannamma frequently cross paths, and Bharathi ends up falling for her.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi also gets worried about the divorce. So, it is expected that the two children, Hema and Lakshmi, will be the reason for the major twist in the upcoming episodes.
  
• The story of the show revolves around Kannamma, a dusky village belle. Bharathi falls in love with Kannamma and marries her. Venba separated the two by playing mind games. The abandoned Kannamma gives birth to twins, one of whom is with her, but the other, unknown to her, is being raised by her mother-in-law, Soundarya.
  
• Through a doctor, Kannamma comes to know about her twin daughters. She is shocked to know that Hema's being raised by her mother-in-law. Whether Hema finds that Kannamma is her mother, will Bharathi and Kannamma join their hands again? This forms the crux of the story.
  
• Sanjeev Venkat to replace Arun Prasath: Bharathi Kannamma, a popular Tamil daily soap, is set to lose another major cast member. Reports suggest, Tamil TV actor Arun Prasath is quitting the show soon. Actor Sanjeev Venkat is likely to him as Dr. Bharathi in upcoming episodes. Major change in characters or replacements is no more a new phenomenon to TV show Bharathi Kannamma. Roshini Haripriyan, who acted as the main lead Kannamma, walked out and the character has been replaced by Vinusha Devi. Recently, Kanmani Manoharan also left the show.

About the show:

• Sanjeev Venkat is a well-known actor in the Tamil Telly world. He is a close friend of Tamil actor Vijay and started his career playing his (Vijay's) friend in most of the movies. He entered the television industry with the serial Metti Oli, in which he played a negative role. After playing a number of negative and supporting characters, he got his first big break as a male lead in Thirumathi Selvam. The serial led to his popularity among the Tamil audience, and his performance in the show was well appreciated. In 2008, Sanjeev received the Tamil Nadu State Award for Best Television Actor for his performance as Selvam. He also entered Bigg Boss Tamil 5 as a wild card contestant and stayed inside the house till the 90th day.
