After an era of names starting with the letter K is over, now there are shows whose titles are based on popular Hindi songs, but even these trends we can see since a few years now. Indya takes a look at few of them.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (STAR Plus) is the one of the longest names of a show .The concept of this show is love after marriage. The song, Yeh rishta kya kehlata is from M.F.Hussain's movie Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities. Although the movie did not do well, this song was quite popular, with all due respect to A.R.Rehman's beautiful music. It was featured on Tabu and Kunal Kapoor.

Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna (STAR Plus) is yet another big name of the show. This is Ekta Kapoor's first show after a long gap which has a title without her lucky letter K. The song Tujh sang is a very famous song from 82's hit Kaamchor featured on Rakesh Roshan and Jayaprada sung by Kishore Kumar and music by Rajesh Roshan.

Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (STAR Plus) - It is the story of Rani and Yudhishtir. Rani belongs to a poor family but falls in love with a prince and gets married to him. The song was Raja ki aayegi barat rangeeli hogi raat which is from Aah(!953). Raj Kapoor and Nargis were featured in this song and Lata Mangeshkar sang it and music was by Shankar Jaikisen. Later on there was a movie too called Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat and Rani Mukherjee was the lead in this movie.

Ghar Ek Mandir (Sony) -The show was a story of a girl whose husband dies after their marriage and then she falls in love with the brother of her husband. There was a movie with a similar name in 1984 which had Mithun Chakraborthy as a hero. This song was featured on Mithun and his family - Moushumi Chatterjee, Shashi Kapoor and others. Music was by Laxmikant -Pyarelal.This was one of the hit shows on TV and Ram Kapoor -Gautami Kapoor's first show together.
