Bigg Boss 14 announces its grand premiere date; host Salman Khan says 'Ab scene paltega'

The wait is finally over. The much-watched controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 14 is all set to entertain the audience with its high-on-dose drama. A new promo released by the makers of this show introduces host Salman Khan Khan, where he gives away the date of the show's grand premiere, which is on, October 3, 2020, Saturday 9 pm.

In the video, host Salman Khan's hands, legs are seen chained, and his face is covered with a mask. He says that boredom will be smashed, tensions will be gone, stress will vanish. The channel shared this video and captioned it: "2020 ki har problem ko chaknachoor karne aa gaya hai #BiggBoss! #BB14 Grand Premiere, 3rd Oct, Saturday raat 9 baje (sic)"

Talking about the contestants' list of this season, big names such as Nia Sharma, Vivian Dsena, Namish Taneja, Zain Imam, Aamir Alli, Akanksha Puri were doing the rounds. However, all of them have squashed this news and called it to be a mere rumour.

On the other hand, Jasmin Bhasin, Pavitra Punia, Ramanand Sagar's great granddaughter Sakshi Chopra, Eijaz Khan, Naina Singh, Punjabi actress Sara Gurpal are the names that will be locked inside the Bigg Boss 14 house.

Bigg Boss 14: Salman Khan locks in a 450 crore deal with the makers for new season

Bigg Boss 14 updates keep coming in and while we wait for the reality show to go on-air, here's an update.

Every year, with a new season of Bigg Boss, updates regarding Salman Khan's remuneration take over the news and so is the case this year as well. While it is true that the actor has not had any releases this year, has cracked a Rs 450 crore deal for Bigg Boss 14 with the makers and the channel.

Over the recent times, there have been reports that the actor is being paid Rs 250 crore for Bigg Boss 14, however, as it turns out that it is not a figure close to what he is being offered. The actor was reportedly charging Rs 15.5 crore per episode last year and this time, he has been charging Rs 20 crore. For the three months of the show, it goes to Rs 480 crore, however, the actor has sealed the deal at Rs 450 crore and it includes his fees for the PCs as well as the promos he has shot. In addition, the actor will be paid additional remuneration in case of an extension, given that the last season was extended by 10 episodes after all and for that, he was charging Rs 7.5 crore.

Khan will be shooting for the show every weekend and will be heading to Goregaon's Film city on Saturdays. Colors' Bigg Boss 14 has already been in the news for a while now. The popular reality show is all set to be back and the promos have already gone on air. Heavily influenced by the lockdown in the view of the pandemic situation, Salman Khan in a teaser, mentioned how the scene will be reversed this year.

There were reports that the show will be launched the first week of September, but according to the sources, we hear the channels has a plan to take the show on-air from October 4, instead. However, things are not yet finalized.

For the longest time now, Bigg Boss 14 has been in the news for various reasons. While we are still awaiting a confirmed list of contestants who will be going inside the house this year, names like that of Nia Sharma, Jasmin Bhasin, and a few others keep coming in. However, there is no confirmation just yet and we also keep hearing new names from across the industry.

Meanwhile, the promos of the Salman Khan hosted show opened up to a mixed reaction given the increased conversation around the nepotism debate. None the less, ardent fans of the show are excited to see what will the new season have in store for them. However, as it turns out, this piece of news might not be one that is very happy since reports suggest that the show might only have half an hour episodes this season. In an interview with Bombay Times, Khan said, “I was called for 'Bigg Boss 12' as well but mujhe lagta hai ki main wahan jaaun toh dhamaka karke aaun (If I go inside I make sure there are fireworks). I don’t want to go inside the house as a celebrity guest and advise contestants on things. Agar main wahan jaaun toh aavam ko pata chalna chahiye ki Arshi aayi hai (If I do inside the viewers should come to know that Arshi has come in).”

She also added that she wants to break away from her Bigg Boss image as she said, "People loved me a lot after 'Bigg Boss' and I am thankful for that. After that show, I did so many shows and events, and one needs to keep doing that. Like Nora Fatehi has done. You will have to keep working."

As known, Bigg Boss 14 this year has Gauahar Khan, Sidharth Shukla and Hina Khan aren't just random panelists but probably have the biggest responsibility. It has now been revealed that the trio each will be handling and making decisions in connection to the kitchen, bedroom and important belongings respectively. Salman also revealed that after the first few days, this trio will decide which contestants will gave the confirmed status from being TBC (To Be Confirmed).

Another day in the house of Bigg Boss 14 will be as fun as ever, while fights continue to happen, but there is also more to the game tonight.

One of the most interesting things about Bigg Boss are the tasks because they are full of fun and all things interesting. As the 'Freshers' have been given another task, it will see them stand up against the 'seniors,' also paving a rather emotional picture in the house tonight.

After the housemates wake up to the tunes of ‘Kya karu oh ladies mein hu aadat se majboor’, the first nominations task of the season is announced. It is read out by Pavitra Punia, and is called The Jewel Thief, where the freshers are supposed to impress the seniors and win pieces of jewelry from them. The one who manages to get the maximum number of pieces will be safe for the week. Soon, Sidharth Shukla, Gauahar Khan and Hina Khan begin instructing their respective teams.

While honesty is the policy for team Gauahar and Hina, Sidharth seems to have his own rules to play with his team, that includes- Nikki Tamboli, Rubina Dilaik, Pavitra Punia, and Sara Gurpal. They start of the game with team Sidharth launching an attack to get hold of the jewelry even before the other two teams settle in.

While Hina Khan chooses to ignore his action, Gauahar is rather upset and calls out 'tabahi' while Sidharth maintains his stance on the strategy they are playing with. This ends up in an argument, while Eijaz Khan seems to be having trouble with the dishes, as he asks housemates to watch their cups and plates while also hitting out at Sidharth for the task that they just did.

None the less, Rahul Vaidya and Pavitra share their own sweet moments while the latter hands out some cooking tips to the former. Soon, he goes on to add how he likes a girl to cook for him. Who will win the nominations challenge this time? Will Sidharth be proven right with his bold strategy?

Tomorrow will finally be the day when wildcards are introduced into the show and they will be Kavita Kaushik, Naina Singh and Shardul Pandit.

Weekend Ka Vaar tonight actually turned out to be rather below par against what all was expected out of it. Considering the promos teased fireworks between the contestants and even how Salman Khan would confront Rubina Dilaik on her objection to Khan's comments, it was thoughtt hat a lot would be going on indeed.

While all this did happen but overall the impact was basic, to say the least.

Tomorrow will finally be the day when wildcards are introduced into the show and they will be Kavita Kaushik, Naina Singh and Shardul Pandit. Kaushik's teaser introduction was smartly done where she came in as a caller for Eijaz Khan but now the freshers will get a shock as they will see how these three are the wildcard contestants.

As expected otherwise, even befor eentering the house, we will see how the new faces will enter into a verbal spat. Pandit will see himself falling into some trouble for his choice of words which are objected by Singh and Kaushik both. The former will also mention how she now has a topic to tackle with Panndit inside the house. We will also see how the current contestants, who are already in the house, will be asked to vote the fresher they want to see in the red zone.

Apart from this, Nora Fatehi and Guru Randhawa will make an appearance to promote their song and will be seen doing a fun segment with the contestants.

One of the rather interesting aspects about any Bigg Boss season is the usual drama that goes around outside in the real world apart from the one that goes on in the house itself. While that has been limited as of yet, there is always a scope for it.

One contestant in the house that has been slowly rising the ranks is actor Nishant Singh Malkhani. While Malkhani had an exact opposite introduction of himself in his introductory video, he has actually been a rather quite man also performing tasks in the show really well.

Malkhani's brother, Lakshay Malkhani has opened up on his brother's stint in the house currently where he also said that he has only entered the house with a simple plan - of being himself. Talking about it to ETimes, Lakshay said, "I think he is absolutely real. I think he is being crystal clear. He believes in logic and sensibilities and when someone questions him then he doesn't tolerate it. He doesn't spend much time on frivolousness or unnecessary things. That's how he is in real life also. Unlike my parents and I, he had not watched any of the previous seasons of 'Bigg Boss'. He wanted to go with an open mind, because he understood that even if he makes a strategy it won't work after a point, as things are not constant in the 'Bigg Boss' house, they change, and I feel he did the right thing."

Talking about his brother's strengths and weaknesses, he said, "My brother's strengths are how he deals with everyone. In a place like 'Bigg Boss' where it is very easy to form groups and engage in only that particular group's stuff, he is actively participating in everything and talking to everyone. He knows how to keep the atmosphere good. A weakness in this show could be that he keeps his biases separate from his decisions. If it comes to saving someone, he will not only see if that person is his friend or not, instead he will look at the overall performance and participation of the contestant. This is not something which everyone will appreciate, because everybody wants themselves to be saved first. I think this can be a problem for him."

About the various allegations in the house where he was said to be spraying insect ****er on Abhinav Shukla and on Sara Gurpal's comment, Lakshay said, "Nishant bhaiya had apologised to Abhinav for the same and even told him that he was just participating in the task. Then, even Salman sir supported him and said that he was just threatening Abhinav, and if he was not comfortable, he could have left his seat. I don't know why Abhinav kept bringing it up again and again, but all seems well now between them, and I am happy for that. As far as Sara Gurpal's comment is concerned, I took it lightly. We should take this comment because of the emotionally charged environment she went through and had to exit. I have nothing against her."

Dilaik is obviously a lot more popular than him owing to the body of work she has done so she did get safe.

Nevertheless, it might have been expected by many that owing to it beingDiwali, no eliminations would happen. But that wasn't the case though and actor Shardul Pandit is the one who has been eliminated from the Bigg Boss house. Many suspected that would happen as he was in contention with none other than Rubina Dilaik.

Pavitra did have a good run mostly due to her love-hate relationship with Eijaz Khan. But this week she was barely seen where she did not have individual content with him. Hence, among the nominated contestants due to less votes Pavitra will leave the show.

Latest report is that the makers have roped in Former Bigg Boss 14 contestants Rakhi Sawant, Arshi Khan, Vikas Gupta, Manu Punjabi, and Rahul Mahajan will be entering BB 14 as challengers.

The house of Bigg Boss always showcases some of the most unexpected twists and turns every season. We often see how daily incidents affect the nature of the housemates turning enemies into couples and foes turn into friends. As already announced by host Salman Khan the major twist is that the finale will be next week. Also, only four contestants from the current season will be going in for the finale. Along with that the other major twist that will be witnessing this season will be the entry of old contestants. Bigg Boss 14 Synopsis: Rahul targeted during nominations, Eijaz nominates Jasmin

Things are about to take a different turn as the finale week is nearing and now, tonight will see the housemates battle it out once again.

With the Finale approaching and the threat of evictions looming large, all contestants in the Bigg Boss House are walking a very fine line. The only options are to play the a-game or get booted out! Eijaz and Rahul sc**** their old wounds and their rivalry takes on a new angle. The two are seen locking horns in the kitchen as their casual conversation turns into an epic battle!

When Bigg Boss announces the nominations this week, it seems like the entire house is targeting Rahul! Bigg Boss provides the housemates a punching bag in the confession room, where they have to stick the faces of the contestants they want to evict and punch it hard! First up is Nikki, who feels that Rahul is vacationing in the Bigg Boss house and he deserves to be thrown out. Rahul, meanwhile, nominates Nikki for hurting other contestants’ emotions. Both Abhinav and Rubina also nominate Rahul. It is Eijaz, however, who plays a different card and nominates Jasmin, who cannot believe his words!

This time, Rahul’s behaviour towards Rubina and Nikki is something that the housemates are targeting him for. In the current lot of contestants, the conventionally popular contestants were always expected to take the cake and that is what has happened where Tamboli has been evicted. Arti Singh on feeling bad for Eijaz Khan leaving 'Bigg Boss 14'

Arti Singh, one of the underdogs in Bigg Boss and a part of the season for 140 days, having made it to the Top 5 opened up on Khan's exit from the house.

Even though the telecast of actor Eijaz Khan's exit from Bigg Boss 14 will be happening only today, ever since news of the same has been out, it has been a sheer shock for one and all. Khan was only one of the three members in the house right now to have been a part of the show since Day 1 but has exited owing to his pre-committed projects.
This will, as we know, shock the contestants in the house as well but even former Bigg Boss contestants have come out to express what they feel.
Arti Singh, one of the underdogs in Bigg Boss and a part of the season for 140 days, having made it to the Top 5 opened up on Khan's exit from the house. Having supported Khan throughout the season, Singh talked about it in an interview with Times of India, she said, "I guess he couldn't help it. It's not Eijaz's fault or the makers' fault, these things happen. The show got extended and if there are work commitments outside, an actor can't help it. But, yes I always I saw Eijaz as one of the top five contestants."
Talking about how difficult it is to survive in the Bigg Boss house, she said, "I have been on the show and I know how tough it is to be there for so long. I think Eijaz had a beautiful journey in the house and of course, he could have won the show too. I feel bad for him, especially because he had come this far and had to opt out."
While Khan is now out of the show, when asked as to who she thinks will be in the finale, she said, "I think Rubina Dilaik and her husband Abhinav Shukla are playing really well. Abhinav is very tameezdaar and he has shown a growth over a period. Rahul Vaidya was doing well until he decided to leave the show on his own and later enter again. I guess he shouldn't have left and should have continued."

Bigg Boss 14: Vikas Gupta makes an entry with Devoleena Bhattacharjee

Things are about to get interesting in the Bigg Boss 14 house with new entries and the return of Vikas Gupta.

Colors reality show Bigg Boss 14 has been getting interesting day by day. The season has seen twists and turns and the season will soon see a shocking exit of one of the strongest contestants. As seen in the promo, Eijaz Khan will exit the show and Devoleena Bhattacharjee will then make an entry.
And now, the latest we hear is that along with Devoleena, Vikas Gupta has also entered the show. Vikas is back inside for the third time. He has recovered completely from his throat infection. Devoleena has entered the show as a guest and it will be interesting to see how things will take a turn next. She had to leave Bigg Boss 13 mid-way after she hurt her back.

Bigg Boss 14: Sonali Phogat bids an emotional goodbye; Aly Goni promises to go out on a date with her

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 14, after an entertaining evening hosted by Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Raghav Juyal, Rashami Desai and Tinaa Duttaa, Sidharth Shukla comes back for the elimination.
He comes and announces that this time the elimination is going to be interesting as the nominated contestants will have to solve a puzzle. The puzzle consists pieces of their faces and they had to pick the pieces from sand pit.

Sonali Phogat, Rahul Vaidya, Nikki Tamboli and Rubina Dilaik solve the puzzle and each of them sees a piece missing. Sidharth summons Vikas Gupta to get a box, which has the missing pieces.
Rahul, Nikki and Rubina get their missing pieces, leaving Sonali alone. This results in her elimination. Sidharth leaves after announcing the elimination.

Sonali breaks down as she bids goodbye to Rahul. She chokes while speaking to him. She tells Nikki not to misbehave and play the game with respect.

Sonali goes to hug Aly and wishes good for Jasmin and his relationship. Aly promises to go out on a date with her once he is out of the house. She thanked Bigg Boss for her month-long stay in the house.

Sonali Phogat came as a wild card contestant and last week she picked up a few fights. Throwing food in the dustbin to throwing food packet on Nikki’s bed, she came under the limelight for food fights.
