Default Koimoi Recommends Harry Potter Films: Dive Yourself Into The Magical World Of Hogwart

Koimoi Recommends Harry Potter Films: We all have grown up diving ourselves into the magical world of Harry Potter. Although as grown-ups we know it’s just fiction, we still hope to receive our Hogwarts letters at our doorstep. Well, I don’t know if that’s ever going to happen, but one can definitely take them into this wonderful world created by J.K. Rowling through the films.

Cast: Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Richard Harris, Michael Gambon, Robbie Coltrane, Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman

Available on: Amazon Prime

Language: English (Subtitles available in Hindi)

Koimoi Recommends Harry Potter Films: Dive Yourself Into The Magical World Of Hogwarts During This Quarantine Period! When one mentions Harry Potter, immediately our mind starts thinking of that giant and artistic structure of Hogwarts school, wands, round glasses, magical broomstick and lots of spells and magic! Who thought that 20 years ago we would get to be a part of such a mystical world and would never get out of it? Yes, yes, I know, Rowling first wrote the Harry Potter books and they were later adapted to films. The books are outstanding for sure, but the thrill of watching all the writing depicted incredibly in audio-visual format is something different!

Harry Potter (played by Daniel Radcliffe), the boy who lived despite the strong attack by Lord Voldermort (played by actors Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, Ralph Fiennes, Frank Dillane, Ian Hart, Christian Coulson, Richard Bremmer, Eddie Izzard and Michael Berendt) has become our friend. Harry’s best friends Hermoine Granger (played by Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (played by Rupert Grint) are our besties too. HP films are an apt watch for people considering the current situation where many are in self-isolation mode. It’s also a great distraction for some time as watching the news constantly can affect and scare you a bit. If you are a first-timer and want to know how to start with watching Harry Potter films, here’s the sequence for you:

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (Directed by Chris Columbus)

Harry Potter and the Chambers of Secrets (Directed by Chris Columbus)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Directed by Alfonso Cuarón)

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Directed by Mike Newell)

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Directed by David Yates)

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Directed by David Yates)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part I (Directed by David Yates)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (Directed by David Yates)

We get to learn a lot of Daniel Radcliffe’s character, but that doesn’t mean Hermoine and Ron are less. Emma Watson’s Hermoine will win you (also envy you a bit) with her intelligence and zeal. Rupert Grint’s Ron shows us that it’s okay to not know everything and make goof-ups because they don’t define you. In fact, you learn from the experience and stand out when the right time comes! Rupert will also make you laugh with his adorable mistakes.

To add more why these films are enchanting and fantastic – Professor Albus Dumbledore’s (played by Richard Harris and Michael Gambon) wise words will stay with you forever. Professor Snape (played by Alan Rickman) is snobbish, but you’ll end up being fond of him for a very big reason. Hagrid’s (played by Robie Coltrane) love and warmth for Harry and his friends will surely make you emotional. Professor Minerva McGonagall’s(played by Maggie Smith) determination towards her work and bringing the best out of her students and her concern towards them makes us wish we had a teacher like her!

Harry Potter films are more than just about magic. It shows us how good triumphs over evil, the value of parents, friends, love, and teachers as well. If you sit to binge-watch these films, you will need a box of tissue because there are many heartwarming and sad moments in this magical journey.

So, Koimoi Recommends you all the Harry Potter films. You can binge-watch it or watch 2 movies a day and finish them off by the weekend. But trust me, this is one of the best things you will be doing during your Quarantine time. Also, let’s hope soon, something casts the Avada Kedavra spell on the coronavirus all around the world!
