Smriti Irani-Yuvraj Malhotra

Smriti Irani had lot of respect for Yuvraj as an actor. She liked him in Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan and so she chose him to play her son in her show ‘Waaris’. Except the poor ratings, everything seemed to be going smoothly until Yuvraj Malhotra assaulted a production unit member. The shoot was stalled and Smriti sacked Yuvraj immediately. Not only this, FWICE (Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees) banned Yuvraj and his career never took off. He didn’t help his cause by criticising Irani in public

Mahi Vij-Mishal Raheja
