Micromax IIFA Awards 2010 announces the Technical Award winners
 The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) declared today the winners of the technical award categories for IIFA AWARDS 2010. It was indeed 'Aal izz Well' for 3 Idiots who emerged front runners for the honours, winning 8 of the categories of the technical awards. Sujoy Ghosh's, Aladin and the Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer, Love Aaj Kal also garnered 2 awards each. The awards will be presented to the winners at the 11th IIFA Awards that will be held on June 5th in Colombo, Sri Lanka, this year. Nominations announced for the Micromax IIFA Awards 2010 at the Videocon IIFA Weekend in Colombo, Sri Lanka Paa, Love Aaj Kal and 3 Idiots lead the Popular category nominations tally
After a successful year for Indian cinema, ie 2009, with stellar performances at the box office, the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) has announced thenominationsfor the IIFA Awards 2010. There was much ado about the venue for this award ceremony - wherein Ireland had been a strong contender to begin with, while Korea had bagged the honor transiently, but Sri Lanka it was that got the final nod from authorities, earlier in March. The 11th celebrations of the Videocon IIFA Weekend and Micromax IIFA Awards will be held in the Sri Lankan capital, Colombo from June 3rd – 5th, 2010.  Meanwhile, the technical awards' winners have been declared, with 3 Idiots sweeping as many as 8 awards all for themselves, including Best Screenplay, Best Background Score, Best Dialog, Best Editing and Best Cinematography. Saif's Love Aaj Kal and Sujoy Ghosh's Aladin got 2 each. The winning contenders will receive their due honors at the ceremony itself. Also, the nomination lists for the popular award categories have been announced. Without further delay, we bring to you the same!
