Bayttaab and Pyaar Ka Bandhan come together for some big-time drama

Balaji Telefilms' newly-launched Bayttab Dil Ki Tamanna Hai and Pyaar Ka Bandhan on Sony will come together for a special one hour episode on December 24. This maha-episode will see many twists and turns in the lives of the protagonists of both the shows.


The channel decided to have this one hour special episode to boost the sagging TRPs of Bayttab Dil Ki Tamanna Hai which has been given an ultimatum to perform or perish. The rumours of the show going off air were doing the rounds, but the show is instead being soon shifted to 8.30 pm.
A source informs, "


The special episode will see a reception party of Kunal Mehra (Aman Verma) and Shyamoli (Sumana Das) where the cast of Pyaar Ka Bandhan has been invited. A lot of drama is expected in this one and hopefully, a rise in TRPs."


The story so far is that Shyamoli who was to marry Veeru changed her mind because she did not want her sisters and Veeru to remain poor.On the other hand Kunal forced her to leave the city because he didn't want anyone else to marry her. Shyamoli gives in to the pressure and marries Kunal to ensure everyone's happiness.


Veeru is very sad and angry with Shyamoli as he thinks she has betrayed him for Kunal's money. He has also been threatening her that he will reveal about their relationship to Kunal.

The source says, "The special episode will see Veeru learning the truth about Shyamoli's marriage with Kunal and he will be very sorry for misunderstanding her.



This is the episode where all the four siblings of Pyaar Ka Bandhan will face each other for the first time. Kunal will introduce Shyamoli as his wife to everyone and his ex-girlfriend Lekha will create a big scene in the party."


The source adds, "Geeta (Urvashi Dholakia) in the show is already negative and will turn more aggressive towards Shyamoli thinking that a maid now will rule the Mehra house. Shyamoli's life will change a lot after this special episode."


Sumana who plays Shyamoli says, "Yes, the special one hour episode will unravel many secrets. I will be seen in a completely different look and I hope viewers will enjoy the episode."


When asked about the change in time slot she says, "Yes the show is being shifted to another time slot but I don't know which slot."
We tried calling Danish Khan, marketing head of Sony, but he remained unavailable for comment.
