One of the upcoming serials in this TV is Siddhi Vinayak, which is considered as the love story with Neha Saxena and Nitin Goswami. This show is proposed to take the slot of a devotional show of this channel “Jai Santoshi Maa” which ends up this month. The shooting for Siddhi Vinayak has started already in the location of Mumbai.

Storyline/Plot

• Siddhi Vinayak story deals with the love story between two families. The lead girl will be known as Siddhi and the lead boy is known as Vinayak. The Siddhi character is played by the female actress Neha Saxena and male role Vinayak is performed by Nitin Goswami. This show is supposed to be a channel’s devotional show. Utkarsha and Ashish are playing a couple role and they are the parents of male lead as well. You will really have a wonderful pastime by watching this wonderful serial.

• 
• The Series Launched In October 2017 On &TV. Season 1 ran from October 2017 - February 2018. Season 1 starred Neha Saxena and Nitin Goswami as Siddhi and Vinayak, respectively.
• In January 2018 it was announced that SiddhiVinayak (Season 1) will be ending with a leap leading to the start of Season 2. In February 2018, Season 2 Began With Farnaz Shetty who Replaced Neha Saxena as Siddhi and Nitin Goswami reprised his role as Vinayak.
• Season 1 was a Romantic Thriller Drama during its run. And Season 2 was Firstly Revenge Drama and in July 2018 the season 2 shifted to a Romantic Thriller Drama.
• Siddhi Vinayak gained immense popularity after its launch and had been giving great numbers for the channel. The show was also successful internationally; in the UK, the show became &TV UK’s top show during its run.

Actress Neha Saxena may recently have been in the news for alleged break-up with actor, Shakti Arora which was clarified later; but the actress is now all set to make a roaring comeback to fiction television after a gap of three years.

The actress is all set to play the lead in And TV's upcoming show, Siddhi Vinayak, which is the tale of a boy and a girl whose blossoming friendship was broken when they were little only to clash each other when they grow up.

Now having nothing but hatred for each other, the saga is about how this hatred will in fact be the birth of a new love story.

What is it about?


Two friends are enjoying themselves on the shore sailing their paper boats until their respective fathers arrive to separate them.





Cut to a generation later, we see the same duo now grown-up and walking in reverse (camera trick of course), looking at each other with rage, hatred and enmity.

That's when the voiceover tells us how this saga is about hatred becoming the first step to a never-seen-before love story.

What's Good?


The background score in the promo is absolutely spot on and the string tunes beautifully complement the darkness of the setting.



Neha Saxena looks more beautiful than ever and in a 30 second promo, she has two costume changes and shines in both.

What's Not-So-Good?
The story and the backdrop appears as cliche as it sounds. Childhood love separated initially only to unite when they grow up after several hurdles- that's been the plotline of several Bollywood films and some TV shows too. I sincerely hope there is a freshness to it when the show is on-air.

The cinematography and direction couldn't have been more 'done-and-dusted.' The shot where the going friends are being separated by their fathers and camera zooms out and the shots where the grown-ups collide paths in reverse and in straight motion is so quintessential that you will be transported to the old Bollywood films immediately.

The Verdict


Having said the above points, Siddhi Vinayak seems an apt comeback for actress, Neha Saxena as she plays the lead role here and looks gorgeous too.

When it comes to Nitin Goswami, the actor looks convincing and we will have to see his true acting chops when the show is launched.
