Where Are Indian Idol Winners And What They Are Doing Today - From Abhijeet Sawant to Salman Ali
Let’s find out where are the winners of the music reality show  Indian Idol has been part of our lives for many years and by far it is one of the most loved and popular singing shows in the country. The music reality show has now reached season 12, and audience are captivated with singing show. Have you ever wondered what are the winners of Indian Idol upto these days? Where are they now? Let’s find out:  Abhijeet was the first ever winner of the singing reality show. He was loved for his melodious voice and garnered a huge fan following in a short span of time. After winning the show, Abhijeet also launched his own album which was a big hit, he also sang a few Bollywood tracks too. A few years later, he participated in Asian Idol in which he stood at No 3 spot.  Sandeep who was from Bikaner was the winner of Indian Idol season 2. He was popular and even sang Rajasthani as well as Bollywood numbers. On December 15, 2013, he was diagnosed with Jaundice and couldn’t battle the deadly disease. Singer Neha Kakkar was also part of season 2 of Indian Idol.  Prashant was the winner of season of the music reality show. A successful singer from Darjeeling, Prashant launched his own albums and sang songs in Hindi as well as Nepali language. He was a constable in Kolkata police, and after a lot of encouragement Prashant took up singing and since then there has been no looking back.  She won hearts and was also the winner of Season 4 of the show. Hailing from Tripura, Sourabhee passion for singing didn’t fade away, she continued touring all over the world. She even launched her own music album called ‘Meherbaan’ and not just that, the singer also bagged Guinness World Record for singing upside-down for 4.30 minutes. She married Kapil Thapa, who was a runner up in season 4.  Sreerama was first ever South Indian to win the trophy of Indian Idol season 5. He became a rage in South India and even sang Bollywood songs. Song Subanallah is one of them and infact he has few Telugu movies in his kitty. He can sing in 7 languages.  After winning season 6 of Indian Idol, Vipul launched his music album Hello Namaste Sat Sri Akal, that didn't do wonders but as of now he is performing live music concerts and shows.  The winner season 9 proved that language is no barrier when it comes to singing. LV Revanth was a popular face and won many hearts with his melodious voice and good looks. LV Revanth sang for blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning. He is now part of many South Indian movies and has sung more than 200 songs over the years.  He won the trophy for season 10 of the show, and became a mentor for Superstar Singer. Salman has sung for few movies and has been part of many concerts.
