• Chinna Ponnu gets eliminated; bids an emotional goodbye to the housemates: ousemates (Screenshot) Chinna Ponnu is the next contestant to get eliminated from the Kamal Haasan-hosted show. She made her entry on day 1 along with 17 other contestants. She is now evicted on the 28th day of the show. 9 contestants were nominated for elimination last week. From them, Imman Annachi and Isaivani got saved on Saturday’s episode. Kamal started the elimination round. He asked the remaining 7 contestants, namely Akshara Reddy, Abhinay Vaddi, Chinna Ponnu, Priyanka Deshpande, Pavani Reddy, Suruthi and Varun, to go to the activity room. Four contestants were saved one after the other. At last, Abishek, Chinna Ponnu and Varun were left in the danger zone. Kamal said that he wanted to speak with them and that’s the reason, he made such an arrangement in the activity room. Kamal said that he wanted to see more participation from their sides. Bigg Boss announced that Chinna Ponnu can meet the housemates and then leave the house. Chinna Ponnu had some emotional moments with the housemates. Upon request from the housemates, she performed a song and left the house. Kamal Haasan welcomed Chinna Ponnu on stage. She spoke about missing her granddaughter in the recent past. She thanked the audience for letting her stay in the house until now. There have been times when Chinna Ponnu thought, whether she would get a chance to enter Bigg Boss Tamil. She is happy to be part of the show. Kamal showed the video of her journey in the house. Chinna Ponnu said that she, along with her hubby, is in plans to establish a centre and train the art to poor people without taking cost. Kamal wished her all the best for her plans. After having a detailed conversation, Chinna Ponnu left the show.
