Story:
‘Chithiram Pesuthadi’, an intriguing and progressive social drama, will be entertaining the audience from April 19. The storyline highlights the issue of gender bias and will narrate the message that a daughter is equal to a son in every way. The serial’s women-centric narrative attempts to break down gender stereotypes and shape the way society thinks about gender equality and women's rights.

The story of ‘Chithiram Pesuthadi’ is set in the late 90’s and raises voice against the issue of female infanticide. The show revolves around the life journey of Thangamayil - an aspirational and hardworking girl who aspires to become an IPS officer. She wants to make her father realize the wrongdoing committed by him in rejecting her during her birth. Thangamayil works hard to achieve her dreams and whether she succeeds in becoming an IPS officer forms the major crux of the story.
