• A number of new shows are set to entertain the Bengali audience soon. Among the new launches, there is a new show which will talk about body positivity by narrating the story of a girl, who has to bear a lot because of her overweight. ‘Sohag Chand’, the upcoming show, which has managed to tickle the curiosity of the audience with its promos,
  
• The show which will start its journey from November 28.

New Story:

• The story is about two young individuals, Sohag and Chand. They are poles apart by nature. Sohag is a bubbly, intelligent and responsible girl who has been repeatedly rejected by prospective grooms because of her overweight.
  
• Deep down, she believes that some day, she will meet her prince charming who would see her true beauty rather than judging her on the parameters of beauty set by the society.
  
• On the other hand, male protagonist Chand is a fitness conscious handsome guy who has his own mantra in life. What happens when their path crosses and whether Sohag manages to find her prince charming, form the main crux of the story. Interestingly, Abhishek’s past project ‘Mou Er Bari’, starring Adrija Addy Roy as the female lead just ended its journey. And the actor has bagged yet another brand new show as lead already. Anwesha, on the other hand, is a model who won a beauty pageant for plus size models.
