This comes as a surprise as the show is one of the longest running TV shows on Tamil television. The final episode of the show will be aired by July 1. First aired in January, 2020, the series has crossed the 1000 episode mark with an overwhelming response from the audience. By July 1, the show will have crossed the mark of 1050 episodes. The show has also brought wide popularity to the main leads, Pavithra Gowda and Amaljith.
The story of the show revolves around Shakthi, a village belle who is blessed with the power of foreseeing the future. She is revered by the village for her unique ability. Eshwar, a doctor by profession, who lives in the same village, tries to drive a wedge between Shakthi and the villagers. Shakthi and Eshwar fall in love under unusual circumstances and the consequences of their love, where Shakthi comes to realise that her present family is not her real family and sets out to find her real family.

At the temple, a mysterious Sithar warns Sakthi bout the impending danger that Rathna will bring. Tharagan wants Rathna to be dead after finding a shocking connection between her, Parvathi, and Sakthi. Rathna is being targeted by two people. Will they be successful or will Sakthi save her- form the crux of the story.
