Default Morning Buns (Bread Recipes)


Prep Time: 1 - 2 hours | Cook Time: 30 minutes - 1 hour | Serves: 10

Ingredients:




You will Need:
500g flour (2 cups)
1 pinch of salt
20g ****er (1.3 tbsp)
25g sugar (5 teaspoons)
12g fresh/dry yeast (2 1/2 teaspoons)
1 egg yolk
280ml milk (a little over 1 cup)
50g flour for dusting (3 tbsp)
1 egg beaten with 2tbsp water
1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Step 1:






Add to the bowl the flour, the pinch of salt,

sugar, yeast, egg yolk, ****er and finally pour
in the milk into the mixing bowl.

Step 2:






Now on a slow speed mix the ingredients for
about 5 minutes. It's likely that the dough will
become caught on the hook, so after 5 minutes
stop and ease it off with your hands. Then, mix

again on a medium speed for a further 3 minutes.

Step 3:






Dust some flour over a flat surface.
Put the dough in the center and knead it with the
palm of your hand. This will give it more

texture and strength.

Knead for about 1 minute until the dough gets a

velvety texture. Leave the dough to rise Place the
dough in a bowl, cover it with a tea towel and
leave it in a warm place to rise. This should take

about an hour.

Step 4:



After an hour, it should look like this,
double size of the previous dough
