Default Topic 38: Schema (Overview)

Personnel calculation schema
A personnel calculation schema defines the order and contents of a program run. It consists of a list of instructions and references to sub-schemas and/or functions which are defined in more detail by parameters. The program processes the specified schema step by step, i.e. sequentially.

Enter SAP Standard Schema

If you wanted to copy use COPY option.

Like Copy from US00 to your customized Schema to avoid the minimum rick like if your customized Schema got problem so you can use the standard and in the future if any updates from SAP, so using Support packs it will updates all from SAP standard to you customizing schema.

Click Attributes and say change

Short text
Enter a short text in this field when you create an object.
This text is used as the header for the object documentation.
If you want to change this short text after creating the object, call up the object documentation and change the header there.

Program class
The program class defines the purpose of the object.

Country grouping
Use
In this field, enter the country for which the schema can be used. This entry also affects the use of functions and their parameters.
You can only use the functions and parameters which are permitted for the country grouping.

Dependencies
A schema can only be assigned to specific countries if it belongs to the 'payroll' program class.

Schemas assigned to the 'time management' class must have the country grouping * (= all countries).

Indicator: Executable schema
This field indicates whether a schema can be generated and, as a consequence, whether it will run.

Name of event owner

Use
The person who is responsible for a schema must be specified in the schema's attributes. This person is responsible for the schema data and is authorized to lock the schema so that other users cannot change it without permission.

Changes only by person responsible
By activating this lock you can prevent other users from performing maintenance activities.
This means that changes can only be made by the person responsible and that other users only have access to the display mode.
