Balaji ventures into comedy again
All these years, she’s made the viewers cry but Ekta Kapoor is out to bring a smile back on those faces. Yes, you’ve guessed it right! Balaji Telefilms will soon come up with a sitcom. Interestingly, this will be Balaji’s first sitcom after Hum Paanch.
Talking about this show, a source says, “Post IPL, Balaji will come up with a weekly sitcom. Presently, we’re working on the script. Ideally, we’d love to have actors like Satish Shah and Ratna Pathak in our show. The casting will begin once we finish with the script. We have held discussions with few channels but most probably this show will come on Colors.”
We tried contacting Ekta Kapoor and even sent her a text but there was no response.
