  It’s finally a wrap-up for Team ‘Uma’. The cast and crew of Bengali daily soap ‘Uma’, had their last shoot yesterday (August 23). It was an emotional moment for the entire crew as they faced the camera for one last time on Uma’s shooting set. Actors Neel Bhattacharya, Shinjinee Chakraborty, Shourya Bhattacharya, Shritama Mitra, Vivaan Ghosh, Maitrayee Mitra, Diganta Bagchi, and other artists were present on the last day’s shoot. The climax episode will be aired this week. New show ‘Jagaddhatri’, starring newbie Ankita Mallick and ‘Teen Shaktir Aadhar-Trishul’ fame Soumyadeep Mukherjee as the lead pair, will replace ‘Uma’ from its usual time slot.
  
• The news of daily soap ‘Uma’ concluding its journey even before completing one year on Bengali television came across as a shocker to many. Industry sources suggest that the news was more ‘unexpected’ for the cast and crew, especially because ‘Uma’ fares decently in terms of TRPs. Although, it isn't able to get into top 5 club these days, almost every week, it manages to squeeze into the top 10 list, outshining many other daily soaps.

Bikramdeb requests Uma to help him for Tinni’s sake which lands our cricketer bahu rani in deep trouble. With this new track, audiences can expect some emotional scenes and drama in the upcoming episodes of 'Uma' which features Neel Bhattacharya and Shinjinee Chakraborty as the lead pair.
