Super 30 Box Office Day 21: Hrithik Roshan & Sajid Nadiadwala’s Film Has Another Good

Hrithik Roshan, Sajid Nadiadwala and team can well plan another round of celebrations. Their Super 30 has held well over the week gone by and that has resulted in the collections going past the 130 crores mark. After three weeks, the film currently stands at 131.50 crores* which is quite good for the genre that it belongs. In fact on its release it had seemed that the best case scenario would be a lifetime of 130 crores. However that number has been surpassed and now close to 15 crores more are expected in the final run.

The film is finding good word of mouth going for it and the collections have been very steady right through the weekdays after a good jump evidenced over the weekend gone by. The film managed to withstand competition from all earlier and new releases, and kept the footfalls coming.

Tax free status for the film in a number of major states is further helping the cause and that should further aid in the collections for a couple of more weeks before Mission Mangal and Batla House arrive. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala would indeed be keeping his fingers crossed to see the film get closer to the 150 crores mark because if that happens, the verdict could well change from hit to superhit.
