Thumbs up India's wackiest leader

Salman Khan

Sallu has never really been the good boy next door. In fact he was next door to you, you'd probably have all the reasons to ensure he'd become a neta. That way he'd be in Delhi and Mumbai would be safe again! Plus we're sure his unconventional techniques of settling disputes would make for GREAT television!

Ram Gopal Varma

Even if the ruling party is not interested in hiring his services, we're sure the opposition definitely would. All Ram Gopal Varma has to do is to walk behind someone for the guy to get sacked!

Aamir Khan

This chap was probably born to be in the Parliament. Think of it, Aamir has never had a day when he's put his foot in the mouth. Even when he did make that 'Shah Rukh is licking my feet' remark on his blog, it couldn't have come at a better time! And with his new body, we sure could see him giving Sallu some competition.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Now, this is one woman who is evidently on her way to New Delhi. The Bachchan bahu has been playing her cards right and boy are we waiting for the day she steps into the power corridors! Of course she will add the much-needed glam quotient there. But we'd love to see her more if Salman gets elected too…

Shah Rukh Khan

Rahul Gandhi counts him as a good friend. And if rumours are to be believed, Shah Rukh has most positively bought a plot in Delhi to construct one of his mansions. Is that not reason enough for Shah Rukh Khan to make it to the power corridors?

Abhishek Bachchan

If the performance of his last film Drona (and most of the others before that one too) is anything to go by, it might just be a good idea for Abhishek to shift base to Delhi. That way we could be spared of his films! And then again, it'd be fun to see a superhero in the Parliament..

Mithun Chakraborty

Here's someone who has reinvented himself like never before! We love him just for that. But take a random poll across the country and you will be surprised at how many people still look up to this man. Narrow it down to West Bengal and we can bet our boots on him winning the polls hands down!

Mallika Sherawat

Aishwarya Rai may add the glam quotient. But Mallika surely will provide us with the necessary shock therapy just by putting up an appearance in the Lok Sabha. If you've missed it, this woman in the picture simply refuses to stop talking. And anyway, isn't that what most politicians do throughout their careers?

Aditya Chopra

You've always complained that politicians never show you their faces once the elections are over. Here's someone who will probably never show you his face EVEN before the polls. But on the flipside, he's always been someone who lets his work speak for himself. Just for that one quality, we'd beg before Aditya Chopra to contest elections.

Sunny Deol

Okay so he may not exactly be subtle and politically incorrect. But make him the speaker of the Lok Sabha and watch how he makes everyone else shut up, even without uttering a single word.
