Default E-Recruiting: ALE Distribution of inactive employees

Questions

we use E-Recruiting and HCM as separate systems. So we have to synchronize our internal employees between HCM and E-Recruiting. We use SAP standard for distribution (processing of changepointers with RBDMIDOC).

We're facing the problem that changes on internal employees, who are not active, are also written to the IDocs. Processing of those IDocs isn't possible. On the E-Recruiting site the IDoc Status records (BD87) give a warning: "The data for creating the candidate is incomplete".

How to deal with those IDocs? Is there a way to exclude those personel numbers of ALE Distribution?

Answers

usually inactive employees can be transferred and they will be marked as inactive in IT5102.

But in your case some infotypes seem to be missing when being transferred.

Did you initially transfer every employee to e-recruiting via an initial upload?
If you just transfer the active ones to e-recruiting and one of the inactive has changed, then you will get of course problems when executing change pointers.

So setting up an ALE for e-recruiting should transfer every employee in order to get no problems in change pointer execution.

Please try to transfer your inactive employee via RHALEINI again. If the complete transfer works, the employee was not exisiting in e-recruiting and therefore change pointer processing failed.

The specific error for one IDOC should be visible in transaction SLG1.
