Default TOP 10 Worst Ridiculously Fast Cars coming to India 2017-2018

At the outset, let me make it clear that this is not a list of the fastest cars in the world. This is a list of some really fast cars which we think would go to waste on the pothole-laden streets of India.

While there are a few highways around the country where you might actually be able to test the limits of the cars on the list, you will eventually just have to accept the fact that you're going to spend most of your time stuck in traffic or worrying too much about the motorcyclists on either side. Not the best use of the power these cars offer, right?

Let's get right into it then. Here are 5 super fast cars which would most probably be gathering dust in a garage somewhere if they ever came to India. (We haven't really checked and some of these cars may already belong to some poor soul somewhere in India. If you know anyone who owns one of them, do let us know if they've ever got a chance to hit top speed):

1. 2018 Aston Martin Valkyrie (Top Speed: 402 km/h)

The Aston Martin is probably best known for being James Bond's preferred mode of transportation of late. But this beast is no slacker when it comes to speed. It's not even on the road, and it's already got a whole lot of people excited. Here's a look at it. Don't get too excited though; we're just getting started:

2. 2017 Bugatti Chiron (Top Speed: 420 km/h)
There had to be at least one Bugatti on this list, right? While most of us know about the Veyron, not many are aware of the Chiron. If the Veyron is a mean little kid, the Chiron is its meaner, older brother. Who wouldn't want to get behind the wheel of this super sports car? Check out the Chiron in action here. 0 – 380 km/h in 30 seconds. Woah!

3. Hennessey Venom GT (Top Speed: 434 km/h)

The car costs just $1.4 million. That's chump change for the super rich. For us, it's nothing more than a dream. This car once managed to go 0 – 321 km/h in 14.51 seconds. This made it the unofficial fastest car up to 200 mph in the world. A whole lot of power for a car very few of us even knew existed, right? Here's a look at it's World Record attempt at 0 – 300 km/h. Skip to 4:40 for the real fun:

4. Koenigsegg Agera R (Top Speed: 433 km/h)

Koenigsegg is one brand we all have heard of but know very little about. For starters, did you know it was a Swedish brand? The car was awarded the title of ‘Hypercar of the Year' back in 2010 by Top Gear. You may also remember it vividly from your days playing 'Need For Speed: Most Wanted'. It was also prominent in the 'Need For Speed' film in 2014. Here are the cars from the movie:

5. 9FF GT9-R (Top Speed: 419 km/h)

The weirdest named car on this list, the GT9-R is manufactured by 9FF and is based ‘loosely' on the Porsche 911. One look at the car and you'll know just how ‘loosely' it was. Wink, wink. One of the major differences between the two though was that the GT9-R is mid-engined while all the Porsche 911's, except one, the 911 GT1 Racer, are rear-engined. Nonetheless, this car would be equally wasted as any other on this list if it ever came to India. Just listen to that engine roar:
