Default Ashita Dhawan to marry in December or January..

Ashita Dhawan better known as Malti of Bidaai or Bubby Chaddha of Ladies Special is getting married to her boy friend Shailesh Gulabani.

The wedding will take place either in December this year or in January, 2010. Ashita confirmed the news saying, "Yes we plan to tie the knot soon. The date will be fixed within a week, depending on the mahurat".

So is marriage a planned move for the lovers? "We have been together for the past four years, hence it was along expected lines". Your take on this age old social institution? "At a time when marriages are floundering left right and center, I believe that accepting the other person as he is, becomes critical. A woman can make or break a relationship", she added.

Ask her about Ladies Special and the hurt shows, "We still don't know why TRPs don't come. People do watch, just last week when this Sony show was not aired for three days, I got lots of calls from all over the world asking what happened. I replied don't worry, we are still on air."

But she does accept that the show will end in some time. "It's better to end it on a high rather then wait for it to loose its charm. I am quite confident that the makers will give it a proper happy ending, if not you can assume that the show will return with a Season 2", she grinned.

In closing we could not help but ask Ashita what qualities of Malti would she want to take home in her marriage? "Soap characters are not real! But if I could I would want to imbibe her qualities of carrying along with everybody in the face of adversities", she concludes.
