While we are waiting to see these movies on the silver screen, Ormax media has shared the list of the most awaited Tamil films of the year and Thala Ajith's Valimai has grabbed the top spot in the list...

Valimai
Thala Ajith's Valimai is the most anticipated Tamil film of 2021. The action-packed film, which is directed by H Vinoth, also stars Huma Qureshi and Kartikeya in lead roles.

Beast
Thalapathy Vijay's Beast has grabbed the second spot in the list. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film also stars Pooja Hegde in a lead role.

Ponniyin Selvan
Mani Ratnam's magnum opus, which is one of the costliest Kollywood films, features Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi and others in pivotal roles.

Annaatthe
Rajinikanth's Annnatthe is scheduled to hit the screens during the Diwali weekend. The film also features Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Meena and Khushboo in lead roles.

Dhruva Natchathiram
Chiyaan Vikram's long-delayed film Dhruva Natchathiram is expected to hit the screens this year. Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, the film also stars Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, Radhika Sarathkumar, Simran Bagga , R. Parthiepan and Sathish Krishnan in pivotal roles.
