The tested times of living in coronavirus pandemic continue and while the old normal certainly doesn't seem to coming back anytime soon, we do come across rather unfortunate news on multiple instances of people getting diagnosed with coronavirus with every passing day.

After multiple public figures shared about how they have tested positive for Covid-19, here's another actor who has been struck with the virus. Actor and former Miss World India Natasha Suri is the latest one to join the unfortunate bandwagon.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Natasha opened up on how she got infected with the virus and her treatment for the same. Natasha revealed that it was after her recent trip to Pune that she started feeling some symptoms like weakness, fever and sore throat. Upon getting tested, it came positive and the actress is currently under home quarantine.

Natasha said, "Around six days ago, I had gone to Pune for some urgent work. After I came back, I fell ill and had a fever, sore throat and weakness. I underwent a test three days ago, which came positive. Currently, I am in home quarantine. I still have fever and weakness. I am on medication and also taking immunity boosters. I live with my grandmother and sister, so I will get them tested, too.” She further expressed her sadness on not being a part of Dangerous' promotions that kick-start from tomorrow. "The promotions were to begin from August 10, and I am very sad that I won’t be able to participate in them," said the actor.

She added, "Nonetheless, I am excited about the project, sharing screen space with some very good actors and working with such a great team."
We hope Miss Suri recovers soon.

The actor will be seen in Dangerous on MX Player costarring Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu.

Veteran actor Satish Shah on Sunday revealed that he had tested positive for COVID-19 last month and thanked the medical staff for 'restoring' his health back to normal.

Satish Shah was admitted on July 20 after he tested Positive. The actor got discharged on 28th July. The actor posted on his social media about the same. He mentioned "#Lilawatihospital can't thank the angels in there enough for restoring my health back to normal. God bless u all (sic)" Talking to PTI, he said, “I am absolutely well now. As per protocol, I have to quarantine myself till August 11. I had developed fever which I suppressed by taking medicines. But then I was asked to get myself tested and the result turned out to be positive. I got admitted into the hospital immediately."

He further said, "I would advise everyone to do that because they monitor you round-the-clock and you can avoid complications. There’s nothing to be afraid of.” He even mentioned that, "You should not panic about COVID-19. It only creates complications if you have some health issues. In my case, it was mainly the age factor which made me cautious. But I am fine now by God's grace and would want people to remain positive."

Lyricist and poet Rahat Indori has passed away. He was 70. “Rahat Indori ji succumbed to cardiorespiratory arrest at 4:40 pm on August 11, 2020. He was Covid positive and was suffering from diabetes among other ailments. He was on ventilator support,” medical authorities at the Indore hospital confirmed to indianexpress.com.

News portal ANI tweeted that the poet suffered from two heart attacks today and had 60 per cent pneumonia. “Urdu poet Rahat Indori (file pic) passes away at the hospital. He suffered two heart attacks today and could not be saved. He was admitted to hospital on Sunday, after testing positive for #COVID19. He had 60% pneumonia,” reads the tweet.

He had taken to Twitter Tuesday morning to share the news of being Covid-19 positive. He had further added he was admitted in the hospital and concluded with a request to not speculate and wait for him to provide update regarding his health.

— Dr. Rahat Indori (@rahatindori) August 11, 2020

Earlier this year, the poet’s words had transformed into a rallying cry as anti-CAA protests erupted across the country. The line, “Kisi ke baap ka Hindustan thodi hai”, taken from ghazal ‘Agar khilaaf hain hone do” gave a voice and purpose to dissent.

“I wrote this ghazal some 30-35 years ago, though I don’t remember the exact year or the context in which it was written. I have recited this ghazal at many mushaiaras and had even forgotten about it, but I don’t know what’s happened in the last three to four years that like a crop rises again, these words have risen again. Now, wherever I go, people request me to recite this but it’s unfortunate that it’s often taken as a sher by a Muslim. Yeh kisi ek mazhab ka sher nahi hai (these lines are not for any particular religion). They are for everyone,” he had said while speaking to The Indian Express last year.
