Popular reality show Bigg Boss Kannada, hosted by Kichcha Sudeep, has come to an end abruptly as the channel has decided to suspend the show as Covid cases continues to surge in Karnataka. The show which got premiered on February 28 had completed over 70 days. Head of the channel, Parameswhar Gundkal on his Facebook page has confirmed the news of show ending. A source from the channel says, “These are unprecedented times we had to cancel the shoot in the mid-way considering the health and safety of contestants as well large number of producer members who are involved in the shoot. As Karnataka has announced stricter lockdown from May 10 to May 24, we will send contestants safely to their respective homes.”

When a 19-year-old aspiring singer Vishwanath Haveri entered the Bigg Boss house, he became the youngest contestant to participate in the popular reality show, hosted by Kichcha Sudeep.
Vishwanath Haveri, who hails from Hubballi, learnt the nuances of music from his grandmother. Now, following in the footsteps of the former Bigg Boss contestant, the contestants of the on-going season 8 have decided to come up with a new song which narrated the life inside Bigg Boss house.

In the recent episode, Raghu Gowda aka Raghu Vinestore came up with the idea of composing a song. He remembered how Vasuki Vaibhav had composed a song inside the Bigg Boss house and mentioned the same to his inmates.
After getting a nod from his co-contestants, Raghu formed a team along with Geetha Bharati Bhat, Shamanth Gowda, and Vishwanath Haveri to create a new song. The song narrated how seventeen people from different walks of life enter the Bigg Boss house to explore themselves. The song also spoke about the task, activities, and the growing bonds among the housemates.

For the unversed, Vasuki penned and composed the song when he was jailed as the worst performer inside the house. His song not only won the heart of the viewers but was also appreciated by host Kiccha Sudeep.

Bigg Boss Kannada season 8 contestants Nidhi Subbiah, Shubha Poonja, and Divya Suresh seemed to be unhappy for sacrificing the bedroom area to save Shamanth Gowda from getting nominated to the danger zone directly. The trio was seen discussing the same in the previous episode of the reality show.
While Shubha Poonja felt that Shamanth should have taken accountability for his mistakes instead of making everyone sacrifice the bedroom area, Divya Suresh had a different perspective on the issue. Divya felt that sacrificing the bedroom only to save him from direct nominations was a 'foolish decision' made by the housemates. Divya mentioned the housemates' decision to sacrifice the bedroom would go in vain if Shamanth would get nominated in the upcoming episode.

On the other hand, Nidhi Subbiah too conveyed her disappointment on the same. Nidhi spoke about how Shamanth managed to gain sympathy from the housemates by speaking about his parents.
The trio spent some time talking about the incident in the dressing room inside the Bigg Boss house.

For the uninitiated, Shamanth Gowda aka Bro Gowda received a warning ticket from the host for whispering into housemates' ears inside the Bigg Boss house. In Saturday's episode of the show, Sudeep mentioned that avoiding the mic while conversing with his inmates is indeed a serious violation.

This took a new turn when the housemates were left with just two options as mentioned by the host. Sudeep asked the housemates to either opt to sleep outside the bedroom for a week or nominate Shamanth directly to the upcoming week. After discussing for a while, the housemates unanimously decided to save Shamanth and opted to sleep outside the bedroom.

After an eventful week inside the Bigg Boss house, the contestants seem to be gearing up some interesting days ahead. With Bigg Boss Kannada in its third week of the season, the recent episode of the reality show saw the male contestants choosing a female partner for the upcoming tasks.
Following Bigg Boss' order, the male contestants were asked to impress a female contestant to support them as a Jodi in the upcoming tasks. The boys in the Bigg Boss house left no stone unturned to impress the female candidates to become their partners. They indeed pitched in seeking support from all the female contestants inside the glasshouse.

While the boys tried their best to impress the ladies, the female gang took advantage of the situation and enjoyed seeking attention. However, Bigg Boss asked the girls not to reveal their decision to anyone until they received orders from him.
Raghu-Vaishnavi, Vishwa-Divya Suresh, Shankar Ashwath-Chandrakala Mohan, Manju-Geetha, Prashanth Sambargi-Shubha Poonja, Aravind-Divya Uruduga, Nidhi-Shamanth, formed the jodis to perform in the upcoming days. These jodis will be performing together in the next few tasks initiated by one and only Bigg Boss.

On the other hand, while the recent episode saw the jodis relaxing and bonding with one another, the upcoming episode is likely to witness the battle to win the tasks.
