Smartphone maker OnePlus is currently working the launch of its much-anticipated flagship smartphone series, the OnePlus 8 lineup. As part of the preparation, the company has kick-started its “The Lab” early access program. Interested fans can submit their application to get early access to the review units as part of the program. Beyond this, a number of details including some press renders and specifications have already leaked out online. As previously reported, these renders have already provided us enough in terms of the design of the OnePlus 8 series. According to a new report, more renders leaked online giving us a glimpse at some interesting new color variants.
OnePlus 8 leaked renders showcase new color options; details German website WinFuture.de shared some OnePlus 8 renders online showcasing some new colors of the smartphone. Inspecting these colors, we get a new “Interstellar Glow”, “Glacial Green”, and “Onyx Black” color options. It is worth noting that these renders showcase the OnePlus 8. Previously leaked renders showcased the top of the line OnePlus 8 Pro. So, the only design change that we can see in the new renders is the triple rear camera setup. For context, the 8 Pro renders include a quad-camera setup on the back. The company has also added its new logo below the camera unit. As per past reports, the device also comes with OnePlus branding towards the bottom on the rear panel. Watch: Concept One First Impressions Overall, the OnePlus 8 series is somewhat similar to the OnePlus 7T Pro. The overall form factor, ****on placement, and port selection are quite similar to the current flagship series. However, the smartphone series is finally set to gain the much demanded IP-68 rating against dust and water. Another report revealed that OnePlus is also planning to bring back the X series as the new OnePlus Z lineup.
