TOP 10 Films based on convincing parents/family.
 Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge YRF's 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' is probably one the best examples of this scenario. It's easy to elope and break a million hearts when in love. But when there is nothing wrong in the relationship why must one elope or be ashamed of it. The film very subtly shows the importance of parents and their acceptance in building a new relationship.

 Hero No. 1 'Hero No. 1' has Govinda falling in love with Karishma Kapoor, he disguises himself as a servant to know her family. He manages to win their hearts as a servant, brings the broken family together but would he still be good enough for Karishma? The film makes 'Meet The Parents' scenario funny and rib-tickling.

 Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge Born and brought up in a protective environment by loved ones all her life, will meeting a guy change Karishma's loyalty towards her family? 'Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge' shows Salman Khan who tries to please each uncle and be the perfect groom according to their standards.

 Kehta Hai Dil Baar Baar Love is blind but can parents be blind too when it comes to their child's future and life partner? This film was inspired by the Hollywood flick, 'Meet The Parents'. Although, the film bombed at the box office it still drives home the point.
