Ashish Kapoor’s dating Shibani Kashyap



Ashish Kapoor, who played Dheer Kuwarsa in Saat Phere, is said be seeing Sajna Abhi Jaa (Waisa Bhi Kabhi Hota Hai Part 2) singer Shibani Kashyap. Shibani, however, denies this stating that the two are just good friends.

When contacted, Shibani said, “I am not dating Ashish at all. We have known each other for the past three years. We do hang out together but I also know Gaurav Gera and Mona Singh very well so the four of us go out together. There is nothing going on between us and there is no chance that we would ever date in the future as well.”


But the buzz is that Ashish and Shibani have been dating for the past one year and have been spotted hanging out together at restaurants and other places. Ashish, who is a very reserved person, takes time to open up and that is one of the reasons he has not spoken about his relationship with Kashyap to anyone in the industry. The actor was last seen starring in Saat Phere, which wrapped up last month.

BBHBBH: Last day, last show

Burey Bhi Hum Bhale Bhi Hum (STAR Plus) will telecast its last episode tomorrow so Indya found out what happened on the sets during its last day of shooting yesterday.

Ashutosh Kulkarni, who is seen as Jai on the show, told us, “As it was the last day, we all spent the maximum time with each other. Right from breakfast to lunch, we had everything together. We did many things like we clicked several pictures with one another and we also cut the cake which JD bhai got. The entire team was present and it was a very touchy moment for all of us.”


He added, “All the male actors were in one common room. It was raining in the afternoon so we made paper boats and put them where ever we saw water. We were continuously playing with them.”


Kulkarni also said that as this was his first venture on national television, it would always remain close to his heart. He said, “It is very special and dear to me and I’ll miss everything about the show. I’ll even miss my character very much. I’ve learnt a lot from the show and it will help me in the future.”’

DKD with Sridevi and Boney Kapoor

After a number of high profile appearances on the show, Dus Ka Dum recently shot for an episode with a non-celebrity in the hot seat. Prior to this episode's shooting, celeb couple Sridevi and Boney Kapoor were special guests.


Our source gave us the details, saying, "This was the second episode that we shot for with a common person. There are only 2-3 episodes more to be shot. Last week, we shot with Sridevi and it was a good episode. Salman always wanted Sridevi on the show. In fact, he even mentioned it openly a number of times. However, Sridevi has never made appearances on reality shows but she finally agreed to it. She played the game along with Salman."


The crew of DKD, as well as host Salman Khan, now has a break before they resume shooting on June 30. "Till that time, Salman will be shooting for his film," says the source.


Apart from Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, who are producing Wanted: Dead Or Alive, actress Ayesha Takia, who stars in the film with Sallu, and the movie's director Prabhudeva also shot for the show.

Star Vivaah couple head for honeymoon

Neeraj Parashar and Sweccha are the first couple to marry after being introduced thanks to the show Star Vivaah. Neeraj, who was looking for a suitable girl, got over 1500 responses just two days after his episode aired on TV. And the woman of his dreams was closer to home than he would have imagined.


A happily married Neeraj said, "The episode featuring me aired on June 3. I had only a few expectations from the show. They showed details about my family and shot portions of the show at my home. And luckily, I got to meet Sweccha, who happens to stay very close to my house, because of the show. In fact, we have the same pin code too!"


Neeraj added, "I wanted a Brahmin girl as I am Brahmin. She had to be well qualified, our horoscopes had to match and she had to be beautiful. Of course values and everything were also on my list of expectations." Both husband and wife have completed their MBAs. While Neeraj works with ICICI Bank, Sweccha works for the Times Of India. Star Vivaah has also gifted the couple their honeymoon package.

Riteish Deshmukh on Entertainment Ke Liye...


Riteish Deshmukh will be seen in the season finale of Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. Riteish had a gala time filming for the show that will bid farewell to its viewers until its back with second two.


An Indya source said, “Riteish Deshmukh was the special guest, who judged the contestants along with Farah Khan and Annu Maliek. He made his entry with a harness. He enjoyed the show a lot and was in a very good mood. Though he didn’t perform, he did do a little jig with the judges as well as hosts Mona Singh and Vishal Malhotra. Riteish also did lots of masti with his good friend Farah Khan and danced the bhangra too.”


More about the finale, the source says, “The finale was very good. We had very talented contestants on a last day and they amazed everyone. Bangalore Boys won. Work on the second season will begin in August and the show will air in September.” The finale will be telecast on Friday, June 26.

Manav and Vaishali to tie the knot on July 5

Manav Vij (Joydeep of Kyunki) and Vaishali Sachdev (Meher of Kis Des) are all set to tie the knot on July 5. They will be getting married in Mumbai is what they describe will be a “very private ceremony”.


Manav said, “Yes, we have decided to tie the knot on the 5th. There are a few other dates that we are considering but mostly it will be on July 5. To be very frank, we are already a very spiritual couple so it is only the social marriage that will happen on the 5th.”


Vij said that their marriage will be a very private affair. He added, “Actually, Meher’s mom passed away in February this year, that’s one of the reasons we don’t want to keep it big. In fact, we have both been really busy with our shows, hence we’ve not even decided on the list of invitees. But it’s definitely going to include some of our very close friends.”


As the couple is Punjabi, the wedding will take place with all the traditional rituals. “Earlier we thought that we would get married in a Gurudwara but now we’ve decided that it will happen in Iskon,” says Vij.
