Amitabh Bachchan has resumed shooting for KBC 12 and the actor took to social media to share a post about the same.



Things have been resuming to normal and the entertainment industry too, seems to have sprung back to normal with shoots resuming and actors returning on the sets. While utmost precautions are being taken in order to maintain the safety and keep up with the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the show must go on they say, and celebrating the true spirit of this line is actor Amitabh Bachchan.

Big B has now resumed shooting and is back on the sets after a while now. The actor has also battled COVID-19 recently and recovered soon. Ever since his return, there have been talks about the actor resuming shoot soon and so, here he is. He also shared a post on social media and while he wrote about the shoot, he did not share his own photo from the sets.

Talking about the long time that it has been since he started shooting for the show and the people around him all suited up in PPE kits, Big B wrote, ''.. it’s back to work .. in a sea of blue PPE .. KBC 12 .. started 2000 .. today year 2020 .. 20 years ! Amaze .. that’s a lifetime!!''

However, Sony TV channel has come ahead to deny these claims and mentioned there have been no coronavirus cases. In a statement to the Times of India, Sony TV (the channel which airs KBC ) refuted having any COVID-19 positive cases on the sets of KBC 12. The channel (Sony TV) wrote, 'There have been no COVID positive cases reported on the set of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The shoot of the show hasn’t started yet and will commence on September 7.' The promo of KBC 12 was shot some days ago, and since then, rumours of two people being diagnosed with Coronavirus on KBC 12 have been doing rounds. Well, we are glad that none of it actually happened and hope everyone stays healthy.

Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) season 12 is all set to premiere on September 28. The host of the show, Amitabh Bachchan is working for 12-14 hours every day to complete the shoot. A report in Indian Express suggests KBC 12 will be aired from September 28 at 9 pm. Viewers can see KBC 12 Mon-Fri at 9 pm on Sony TV. The 12th season will definitely be different from the previous seasons because of COVID-19 safety measures. The report further says that there will be no live audience.

As written in the portal, the makers of KBC 12 are taking every precaution. Contestants chosen for the fastest finger first round were made to self-isolate at a hotel before entering the set. In addition, the show is being filmed without a live audience. A week ago, the makers shared a promo that the shooting for the show will begin from September 7. The channel also posted a few pictures of the Puja from the sets of the show. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan took to social media and shared that he is taking no chances on the sets and following due protection norms against the virus. He was seen wearing a face shield. “Be safe .. and be in protection,” the legend captioned the image.

Amitabh Bachchan was hospitalised after testing COVID-19 positive in July and discharged after testing negative on August 2.

Kaun Banega Crorepati is known to have fulfilled many dreams and made the audience believe in their hopes and aspirations. Now, the latest promo of the show gives a glimpse of another contestant becoming a crorepati (a millionaire). Nazia Nasim emerges as the first crorepati of KBC 12. The new promo, shared by Sony TV on social media, shows host Amitabh Bachchan appreciating Nazia’s intelligence and yelling ‘ek crore’ in his signature style. The clip also shows celebrations on the set as Nazia is left all surprised and emotional.

The channel shared the clip with the caption that read, “NAZIA NASIM is #KBC12’s first crorepati ! Watch this iconic moment in #KBC12 on 11th Nov 9 pm only on Sony” (sic)

The episode is going to be aired on November 11 in the Diwali special week. The promo also shows Bachchan moving to ask the biggest – Rs 7 crore question to Nazia. “Yeh bade mushkil prashn the, jahan aapki nazar gayi, woh ekdum sahi thi,” he tells her.
