Bigg Boss Telugu 5 has announced the second finalist of the season. Actor Sunny became the next finalist of the ongoing season which is set to conclude on December 15 (Sunday). Sreerama Chandra, the first finalist of the season, revealed it for the housemates and the viewers. He uncovered Sunny's picture in the scroll that was hidden in the balloons set up in the garden area. The housemates were called into the garden area after they revealed their biggest regret in the season so far.
Sunny jumped out in joy after Sreerama Chandra announced him as the second finalist. However, the reason behind Sunny's victory was not revealed.
Sunny is one of the strongest contestants of the season. He was the first contestant to win the eviction free pass as well.
In the ticket to the final task, Sreerama Chandra has become the first finalist by winning a physical task against Maanas. Notably, Sunny also played a few challenges on the behalf of Sreerama Chandra as the latter suffered cold feet in the first challenge of the ticket to the finale series of tasks.
During the task, Priya went to Sunny’s basket while the rest of the contestants were collecting eggs from the hatchet. Sunny quickly rushed to his basket and shoved Priya in an attempt to protect his basket. She warned him against getting physical with her. This led to an ugly spat. About Arun Reddy aka VJ Sunny:
Born in 1989, Sunny hails from Khammam where he completed his schooling and later obtained his B.Com degree in Osmania college, Hyderabad.
With the encouragement from his mother Kalavathi, who always wanted to be an actress, Sunny was active in co-curricular activities. His performance as Allaudin in a play got him a chance in yet another play.
He started his career as the host of the TV show ‘Just For Men’ and later on worked as a page 3 and lifestyle reporter in a news channel. He later hogged the limelight as a VJ.
He got his screen name ‘Sunny’ after his favourite bike during teens. Sunny later worked as a journalist, too. Sunny, while interviewing celebrities as a journalist, wanted to be on the other side of the camera.
