We track down the last 4 winners and wonder how the crown has helped them in their career. Shreerama Chandra now has a one year contract with Sony and also an opportunity to sing in a Yash Raj Film Sourabhee Debbarma Sourabhee Debbarma is the only female contest to have one the India Idol reality singing talent show. She released an album 'Meherbaan' as per a contract with Sony Prashant Tamang Prashant Tamang hails from Darjeeling and won the season 3 of Indian Idol. Last heard he has bagged some singing assignments. Sandeep Acharya Sandeep Acharya won the season 2 of Indian Idol by defeating N. C. Karunya from Hyderabad. He seems to have disappeared into anonymity. Abhijeet Sawant The winner of the first season of Indian Idol was Abhijeet Sawant from Mumbai. His first album Mohabbatein Lutaunga and Junoon were an instant hit. He made his debut in acting in 'Lottery'. He recently hosted the Indian Idol season 5.
