Dravid may be rested after Mohali Test

After the meeting of out of form former skipper, Rahul Dravid, with the chairman of national selection committee of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), K Srikkanth, on Monday, there are speculations of his exclusion from the Indian side after the Mohali Test.

Dravid, who failed to perform during the Australian team's tour of India, failed again to impress the selectors in both the innings of first Test in Chennai, which concluded on Monday.

Later, Dravid called on Srikkanth when the latter advised him to take a break after the second Test, scheduled from December 19. Srikkanth also suggested Dravid to play domestic cricket to regain his confidence, Headlines Today reported on Tuesday.

Dravid's failure to stop balls and even dropping some vital catches during the first Test had drew attention of his critics. In the Chennai Test, he had scored 3 and 4 runs in first and second innings respectively.
