• ‘Sarbojaya’ has bagged the second spot. The show starring national-award winner Deboshree Roy, has climbed up and replaced ‘Aparajita Apu’ from its usual position. The Rohaan Bhattacharjee and Susmita Dey starrer is in third spot this time ‘Sarbojaya’, which narrates the story of a simple housewife and her sacrifice for the family, seems to have struck a chord with the audience. Deboshree’s performance, her chemistry with actor Kushal Chakraborty and frequent tweaks in the storyline have worked in favour of the show it seems. 'Sarbojaya' recently featured a special sequence where Deboshree and her reel daughter Sanghamitra Talukder were seen setting the stage ablaze with their perfect dance moves. The episode was a visual treat for the audience.

• The story revolves around housewife Sreemoyee who dedicated her entire life to the family and left empty-handed. Just like 'Sarbajaya', Sreemoyee was also considered as a 'misfit' to the family. But Srreemoyee decided to start afresh and create a new identity. However, unlike Sreemoyee's hubby Anindya, Sarbajaya has the support of her husband who encourages her to pursue her dream.

• Debashree, who won National Film Award in 1995 for her performance in ‘Unishe April’, has been a part of several films. She made her presence felt in both commercial and parallel films.
