Masterchefs made interesting revelations in The Kapil Sharma Show
Chefs Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar had graced the Kapil Sharma Show with Chef Garima Arora. Amid the fun conversation, the chefs got candid about their personal lives and some fun anecdotes from the show. Here's what they share. Chef Ranveer teaches cooking in Jail
In UP, there are three model jails, the inmates are taught some work so that when they are released, they can live a normal life outside. So when we talk about second chances, there is nothing better than food for a second chance. So we still go and train them how to cook. My chefs are also there and they call it 'Jail Ki Roti'. They make burgers, biscuits and all, and these get sold in restaurants outside. This brings a different confidence in them that people are eating their food. That confidence brings their zeal to get back to a normal life. Vikas reveals why is he single
Kapil then asks Vikas why he hasn't gotten married. He asked, 'Aapko koi pasand nahi aayi ya bohot saari pasand aayi.' Vikas jokes, 'Keh sakte ho'. He then shared, 'Chef's life is very demanding and when you cook in the western world you face a lot of struggles especially in a country like America. A lot of years pass by in establishing yourself there.' Ranveer: Isko koi nahi jhel sakta mere siva
Ranveer says, "Main batata hu, yeh saare angrezi chef, western life. Reality is that isko koi nahi jhel sakta mere siva. We were going somewhere in Goa, and the driver was driving, Vikas thought we weren't going right. He kept telling him that he was taking us to Bombay. Abhi aise ko kaun bechari jhelegi." Chef Garima shares a funny incident
Kapil asks about the incident where the bride left her groom for Vikas, Garima shared, "We were sitting and reading our script, the bride and groom came and her eyes were on Chef Vikas. She came to Vikas straight. Even the videographer saw. Ranveer adds, "Shaadi tooti is a fact." Ranveer shares an anecdote about the wedding
Ranveer shared an anecdote, "In the previous season, we decided to make the homecooks cook in a wedding. The couple had their wedding a week later, but they agreed to shoot an episode for us. So the episode happened and Vikas danced in that wedding, and that wedding was called off. Ek hafte baad shaadi hui hi nahi. Vikas danced so well that she thought if she could get a guy like him then she shouldn't marry the groom." Vikas talks about his conversation with the bride
Vikas refused and shared what had happened, "I told that girl that her husband should cook. Main chayi nahi hu, but I advised her that he should at least know how to make tea or the basics for you. You'd end up cooking all your life then. That is when she had a second thought about the wedding."
