• Kalabhavan Shajon recalls how Jeethu surprised him with 'Drishyam' offer; says, 'It was a 'kili poya moment' Comedian Shajon left everyone stunned with his performance as villain in the blockbuster movie 'Drishyam'. Ever since then, movie lovers have been witnessing his strong supporting character roles but Drishyam was a game changer for him. Recently, Shajon spoke about the same in a TV show.
• In the recent episode of 'Samsthana Sammelanam', Shajon was seen as a celebrity guest. During the interaction with host Mathukutty, the actor spoke about how Sahadevan in 'Drishyam' changed his life. "It is a blessing to finally get the type of characters you always dreamt to do in movies. I strongly believe that if you work hard, no matter what, your efforts will be rewarded. Drishyam's Sahadevan was indeed a life-changing character for me," he said. Further, the actor narrated how he got cast in the Jeethu Joseph directorial. "It was the time when I was playing a character in Jeethu's movie, 'My Boss'. One day, he gave me a script and asked me to read it. I curiously read the script looking for a comedy character for me, but I couldn't find it. However, I told him my feedback that it is a great script. Later, he said that he will be approaching Mohanlal with the script. To be frank, I thought I might lose my chance to play in the movie as it will become a big one if Mohanlal agrees to do it. Surprisingly, after days he told me 'You are playing Sahadevan' and I was shocked. It was a 'kili poya moment'," he shared.
