Default TOP 10 Negatives & Positives of Mirzapur Season 3

TOP 10 Negatives & Positives of Mirzapur Season 3

Mirzapur Season 3 picks up right from where it was left. From the very first episode, viewers can immediately sense the shift in power dynamics in Mirzapur from the Tripathis to the Pandits. Guddu Bhaiya (Ali Fazal) exacts his long-awaited revenge on Munna Bhaiya (Divyenndu), but the audience is left in suspense as Kaleen Bhaiya’s (Pankaj Tripathi) fate remains uncertain. As the series unfolds, the significance of Kaleen Bhaiya’s survival becomes increasingly clear—his life is crucial for Guddu to claim the throne.
The dramatic daylight ****** of Munna Bhaiya sets a grim tone, while Sharad Shukla (Anjum Sharma) manages to save the wounded Kaleen Bhaiya, providing him a safe haven to recover. A pivotal moment unfolds when Guddu Bhaiya shatters the statue of Kaleen Bhaiya, revealing the inscription ‘Tripathi Chowk’ beneath it, symbolising his bid to establish dominance over Mirzapur.
Performances

Its Ali Fazal’s show, where others are just reprising their characters and playing their roles. Ali has the major screen time, showing different shades of his character. While Guddu Bhaiya is someone who can wreak havoc and create ‘bhaukal,’ his other side reflects a sweet, normal guy whose affection toward little kid Lippi (Kiara Sadh) melts viewers’ hearts. Ali brings Guddu Bhaiya to life with a wide range of emotions. This season relies heavily on his talent.

Coming to Golu (Shweta Tripathi), her transformation from Gajagamini Gupta to Guddu Bhaiya’s right hand, has been remarkable. From the second season onwards, you see that Golu is no longer the sweet or sensible girl she once was; she has become ferocious, bold, and fearless. She is more intense and layered, showcasing her transformation from a grieving sister to a ruthless avenger.
Sadly, Kaleen Bhaiya becomes a showpiece throughout the series, and his presence is sorely missed. Most of the time, we see him in the series as a grieving father on a recovery bed, with fewer dialogues and even less power. Meanwhile, Chote (Vijay Varma) shine by s****fully portraying complex layers of dark ambitions and emotional vulnerabilities, whereas Bina Tripathi’s (Rasika Duggal) role felt limited in the third season. However, even in a small role, Rasika Duggal managed to turn heads and captivate an audience.

Mirzapur Season 3 Sneak Peek

Mirzapur Season 3 begins with a grim tone with Madhuri (Isha Talwar) performing the final rites of Munna Bhaiya, whereas Sharad Shukla (Anjum Sharma) manages to save the wounded Kaleen Bhaiya, providing him a safe haven to recover. A pivotal moment unfolds when Guddu Bhaiya shatters the statue of Kaleen Bhaiya, revealing the inscription ‘Tripathi Chowk’ beneath it, symbolizing his bid to establish dominance over Mirzapur.
However, as the series unfolds viewers understand that fight is for the entire ‘Pradesh,’ as ‘Pashchim’ demands more than Purvanchal. The series emphasises that the stakes are higher, focusing on the question: Who will emerge as the new Bahubali—Guddu Bhaiya or Sharad Shukla?
As the episodes unfold, it becomes clear that Guddu Bhaiya faces not just one enemy but an entire clan. Coming to other aspects of the series, a mystery which remains unsolved has to be about Bina Tripathi and her kid. Who is the father of the child – her father-in-law Satyanand ‘Bauji’ Tripathi (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) or the househelp Raja? IFYYK!

What Works and What Doesn’t

Things which worked for the series and pushed one to watch have to be the remarkable performances of the actors and the high-octane action scenes. Also, while the series occasionally pauses for reflection, its captivating production design ensures each scene is a visual delight. However, things which did not work out for Mirzapur season 3 are the absence of Pankaj Tripathi and his powerful dialogues. Also, There are times in the series when the storyline falls weak and becomes extremely predictable for the audience. Additionally, dramatic scene shifts can break the continuity and potentially cause a drop in viewer interest.
Verdict

This guns-and-goons political crime thriller revolves around relentless bloodshed, gore, and even moments of cheap thrills. Mirzapur Season 3 is similar to ‘Sacred Games’ in its delivery of intense, blood-boiling content on OTT platforms. Season 3 will leave you mind-boggled, and you’ll likely need to rewatch from the beginning to grasp the dynamic shifts fully. The verdict on Mirzapur Season 3 is clear: the stakes and action are higher than ever. However, the storyline lacks the expected flair and grip. Nonetheless, if you enjoy bloodbaths, the third season is worth watching for its stellar performances, direction, and chilling moments.
Rating: 2.5 stars

If you’re a fan of gore, crime, thrills, and everything in between, then get ready because the highly anticipated sequel, Mirzapur Season 3, is releasing on Friday, July 5. Amazon Prime will unleash the high-octane world of gangs, guns, and vengeance, bringing back your favourite characters — Guddu Bhaiya, Golu, Bina Tripathi, and Sharad Shukla. After the intense and blood-soaked climax of Season 2, where Guddu Bhaiya (Ali Fazal) took his sweet revenge on Munna Bhaiya (Divyenndu) with a dramatic point-blank shot, Mirzapur 3 will pick up right where the last season left off.

The trailer for Mirzapur season 3 has already set social media ablaze, creating a buzz of exhilaration among fans eager to dive back into the dark and complex world of Mirzapur. As the countdown has started, here are five intriguing things you can expect from Ali Fazal’s hot-blooded drama series.

Golu’s Transition to Guddu Bhaiya’s Right Hand
The character of Golu, played by Shweta Tripathi, has experienced major ebbs and flows throughout Mirzapur Seasons 1 and 2. In Season 1, Golu was one of the sweetest, sensible, and sincere characters, dedicated to her life, education, and family. However, her world flipped upside down when Munna Bhaiya mercilessly ****ed her sister Sweety (Shriya Pilgaonkar) and her love interest, Bablu (Vikrant Massey), leading to a dramatic shift in Golu’s personality.

Mirzapur 2 began with a stark transformation in Golu, who is no longer the sweet and bubbly young woman we once knew. She emerged as one of the gang members of Guddu Bhaiya. The real question is whether Golu will rise to become Guddu Bhaiya’s right hand or consigliere in Mirzapur season 3, making all the right decisions and saving him from the other ‘Baahubalis‘.

Vengeance and Fight

Set in the hinterland of Uttar Pradesh, the series Mirzapur is about a city that runs on high testosterone and is filled with bloodshed, carnage, and an unquenchable thirst for power. However, the series would be incomplete without its heart-pounding, vengeful fight scenes that make you want to bite your nails and look away from the screen. The trailer for Mirzapur Season 3 features some of the most spine-chilling and intense fight scenes, which can run anyone’s blood cold. With the new season just around the corner, it will be fascinating to see just how far the makers of Mirzapur 3 will push the boundaries of gore and suspense to deliver a thrilling experience for the audience.

What Will Be Bina Tripathi and Guddu Bhaiya’s Relationship?

A very different angle in the series has kept the audience on the edge. In the trailer, we see Bina Tripathi (Rasika Dugal) wife of Kaleen Bhaiya, sharing a very close moment with Guddu Bhaiya, who is the literal enemy of the Tripathi family. It will be intriguing to see the story unfold between Bina and Guddu and what consequences it leads to.

Who is the Father of Bina’s Child?

One of the biggest mysteries that remain from Season 2 is ‘Who is the father of Bina’s newborn child?’ And, yes, it is definitely not Kaleen Bhaiya. If you remember, in Season 1, Bina was caught by her father-in-law Satyanand ‘Bauji’ Tripathi (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) having an ******** moment with Raja (the house help). Later, the situation turned grim when Bina’s father-in-law took advantage of her and exploited her ***ually. Soon after, we got to know Bina was pregnant, but with whose child? We hope to see this mystery being solved in season 3.

Violence is Guddu Bhaiya’s USP

The trailer of Mirzapur 3 made it loud and clear that the upcoming episodes are filled with violence, as Guddu Bhaiya can be seen saying, “Violence toh humara USP hai.” So, we can expect the new season to be filled with a lot of violence, some heinous scenes, and even the grey characters will be glorified.
