Debina Bonnerjee Resumes Shooting for Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga!

Actress Debina Bonnerjee takes it to her social media account to share a picture of her returning to the sets of SAB TV show Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga.



After months of halt in the entertainment industry, the makers of various Television shows have resumed shooting. Several shows including the likes of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kundali Bhagya, Kasautii Zindagii Kay amongst others have started their shoot by taking utmost precautions and ensuring the safety of it's cast and crew. The latest show to join the list and resume it's shoot is SAB TV popular show Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga.

Actress Debina Bonnerjee takes it to her social media account to share a picture from the sets. Debina can be seen taking the precautionary measures and have worn a mask as well. She captioned the picture as, "The new normal. Need your blessings. Super nervous and happy to be back. #aladdin @sabtv."

Avneet Kaur Quits 'Aladdin', Ashi Singh To Replace Her

One of the most popular shows for Sab TV, Aladdin Naam Toh Suna Hoga will witness the biggest development as leading lady Avneet Kaur has quit the show.



As the lockdown for shooting purposes is technically lifted and we have witnessed how multiple shows are all set to be resuming shoot soon (some of them have done already), several changes are indeed happening.

One of the most popular shows for Sab TV, Aladdin Naam Toh Suna Hoga will witness the biggest development as leading lady Avneet Kaur has quit the show.

Yes! That's right. According to Bombay Times, Kaur has quit Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga. And replacing here in the show is none other than actor Ashi Singh, who we best know as Naina from Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai. Just before the lockdown was imposed, Singh was finalized to play the grown-up character in Dil Jaise Dhadke Dhadakne Do but the show was finalized to go off-air in the lockdown period itself.

However, it is now sealed that Singh will be playing the role of Yasmin in the show. Singh confirmed the same saying that as an artiste, she strives to play different roles and Yasmine is indeed nothing like Naina. She also added how she never thought that she would be a part of a fantasy show so when Aladdin was offered to her, she didn't think of anything else. She said how she is excited to perform action on-screen for the first time and how she will work hard to play the part convincingly.

On replacing Kaur, she mentioned how she never wanted to replace anyone and it is difficult to surpass a benchmark set by the original actor. Though she pointed out that this three-month break will probably work in her favor as the viewers will have to reconnect with these shows and it will be easier for them to accept a new face.

When it comes to Kaur, she also confirmed saying that she left the show because of the coronavirus crisis. She suffered from dengue last year and resumed work despite her immunity not being strong. She also added how there was added stress of her board exam preparation and hence that made her really weak.

So, she is currently scared to resume shooting and hence her parents and she decided that it is better if she quits. She concluded saying she is sad but health comes first.

Actor Siddharth Nigam takes it to his social media account to pen a heartfelt note for his Aladdin Naam Toh Suna Hoga co-star Avneet Kaur as she quits the show.


As the shootings of famous Television shows have finally resumed and fresh episodes are all set to air once again, several changes will be seen in the shows. One of the most popular shows of Sab TV, Aladdin Naam Toh Suna Hoga will witness the biggest development as the leading lady Avneet Kaur has quit the show. It is also reported that Actress Ashi Singh has stepped in to replace Avneet as Yasmine in the show.

Sony SAB’s Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga is set to witness the most shocking twists in the upcoming episodes. While Aladdin (Siddharth Nigam) and his toli celebrated their ultimate win against the evil, after defeating Mallika (Debina Bonnerjee) in the most challenging battle so far, evil now has taken a new form. Faraz (Aamir Dalvi), who has been Aladdin’s partner and confidante throughout the challenging journeys while retrieving the parts of Mallika’s khanjar, is not whom we thought he was. Viewers must brace themselves as Faraz reveals his true identity as the most cunning and evil, Zafar.

After putting an end to Mallika with the khanjar she sought for, Aladdin and his toil start celebrating their biggest win only to realise that the powerful khanjar, now laced with Mallika’s powers is missing.
