Reports suggest that Sunil Grover has been approached for the Salman Khan show, however, not as a contestant.



Bigg Boss 14 is on its way and while there continue to be new updates regarding the show and the contestants, the promo last night has only added to the conversations. While it has been received with mixed reactions as far as the audiences are concerned, however, fans are eagerly waiting for the show after all.

And now, with the list of contestants that keep coming in, the latest reports suggest that Sunil Grover has been approached by the channel to appear on the show, as a guest. The reports have it that he has been asked to be a part of the show for 10 days and stay in the house during the same. And well, it sounds interesting for he is sure to keep up the humour quotient on the show.

Meanwhile, the actor-comedian is currently gearing up for his show Gangs of Filmistan and the promo that came out a couple of days ago sure had everyone's attention. Also returning to the screens with the show will be Shilpa Shinde, along with the likes of Upasna Singh, Paritosh Tripathi, and others.

Bigg Boss 14, on the other hand, is likely to go on-air around September 27, 2020, however, the official announcement on the on-air date is yet to be made.

Salman Khan is going to be back with Bigg Boss 14 next month and while the channel has been teasing fans with promos and photos from time to time, this season is expected to be different for more reasons than one. Hence, as has been seen, the Bigg Boss season 14 is likely to be named Bigg Boss 2020 and it will be an interesting watch for the twists and turns it is expected to bring.

While the channel released another promo of the show yesterday, it looks like netizens have a rather mixed reaction to it. The promo sees the actor sitting in a theatre while raising questions as to how the year 2020 has been and in fact, with this season of the show, they will bring some excitement as well as give it back to 2020.

While there seems to be a lot of talk around the show, what has also been rather noteworthy is how it has been receiving a rather mixed reaction to the show in the wake of the ongoing argument regarding nepotism post Sushant Singh Rajput's unfortunate demise. And it so happens, Khan has also been receiving a lot of backlash.

Salman Khan hosted a controversial reality show Bigg Boss 14 is all set to premiere on the television in September. The new season of the Bigg Boss will start in September after Khatron Ke Khiladi- Made in India wraps up. Speaking to Indian Express, a source revealed, 'The season will have a mix of celebrities and semi-known faces. Once they come on board, they would have to be in quarantine for a given period before entering the Bigg Boss house. Gavie Chahal who acted in many serials, Punjabi films and also in Hindi films including "Ek Tha Tiger" and "Tiger Zinda Hai" was offered reality show Bigg Boss 14 and negotiations were on.

Before everything got inked, Gavie has to make an exit from the show as he has to undergo eye operation and doctors have advised him complete bed rest of three weeks.

Now, Gavie is recuperating and he hopes that he may get the chance to enter into the house of Bigg Boss through wild card entry. Hope he recovers soon and can be seen in the show with housemates.

When we contacted him, he said, "Talks have been on for the past one month and I was excited. However, we only recently came to know that I have to be operated. In fact, it was my father's dream, to see me on the show." Ask him if he would go as a wild card, he says he is keen on being a part of the show and hopes to do it soon.

Given the ongoing pandemic, shows have been moving rather slow while some are being postponed, or axed too. Here's the latest update on Bigg Boss 14.



Colors' Bigg Boss 14 has already been in the news for a while now. The popular reality show is all set to be back and the promos have already gone on air. Heavily influenced by the lockdown in the view of the pandemic situation, Salman Khan in a teaser, mentioned how the scene will be reversed this year.

There were reports that the show will be launched the first week of September, but according to the sources, we hear the channels has a plan to take the show on-air from October 4, instead. However, things are not yet finalized.

It is also reported that contestants were supposed to be in quarantine for at least a week or more, and it was supposed to start this month-end while the show was supposed to go live from the 5th of September. But now, there might be a change in the plan as the show's on-air date is reportedly postponed.

According to the sources, Jasmin Bhasin, Pavitra Punia, Eijaz Khan, Naina Singh, Zain Imam are some of the celebrities who have been finalized for this season.
