In an era, when women were not even allowed to have a voice, an 8-year-old innocently questions the deep-rooted prejudices and biases which crippled them. Through its upcoming drama series, Barrister Babu, COLORS’ presents an inspiring journey of Bondita, who with the help of her companion Anirudh finds her purpose, breaks the glass ceiling and becomes a ‘Barrister Babu’. Produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions, the show is set to premiere on 11^th February 2020 and air every Monday to Friday at 8.30 pm, only on COLORS.

Set against the backdrop of Kolkata, an eight-year-old Bondita is being married off to a 60-year-old man. But as fate would have it, her life takes a sudden tragic turn. While she becomes prey to social injustice, fate leads her to her husband Anirudh, a London-return Barrister who wishes to liberalize women and unstrap them from cultural stereotypes. As he pledges to fight against the age-old norms and help Bonita find her identity, he unfolds a pathway for her to become a Barrister Babu. While Bondita asks some thought-provoking questions, Anirudh through her journey tries to fight them. Will Bondita and Anirudh be able to fight against this broken culture and mark the beginning of a revolution?

The fictional fantasy is based on Indian folklore which entails family drama, revenge, romance, and suspense with inconceivable twists. An imperative part of our folklore has been the belief that if Naagin’s love is snatched away from her, she neither forgives nor forgets and surely returns with a vengeance. Synergising mythological ancient beliefs and the modern-day fantasy series, Naagin- Bhagya ka zehreela khel will enchant viewers with a mysterious story that revolves around two women Brinda and Nayantara, their past which deeply affects their future and fate that brings them on crossroads. While, Nayantara is filled with rage and waiting to seek revenge from everyone who hurt her parents, Brinda is a simple, genuine and kind girl who loves her family. Shubhaarambh: A single shoe is meaningless without its pair, just like a perfect stitch requires a sui and a dhaaga or an earing that loses significance without its other half. Just like Raja (played by Ak**** Sukhija) and Rani (played by Mahima Makwana), the lead protagonists of COLORS upcoming fiction offering Shubharambh. The show is an unusual love story of two distinct personalities who are imperfect as individuals but together, they discover new horizons. Situated in a small town of Gujarat, Raja and Rani come from opposite backgrounds; while Raja is born in the lap of luxury, Rani leads a humble life. All is well until a tragedy hits Raja’s family when he loses his father and is left at the behest of his paternal uncle and aunt. At a young age, Raja is made to take responsibility for his entire family on his shoulders and support his mother. Apart from taking care of his father’s suiting and shirting business, Raja looks after his entire family and leads a life by their principles. But the only thing that is missing in his life is ambition and he doesn’t realise it until Rani enters his life. Rani, on the other hand is a flamboyant girl who belongs to a humble family. Mumbai 26^th February: He is a 28-year-old free-spirited person who loves his freedom, Reyansh. She is a righteous girl who is always protecting her broken heart, Pranati. And then there is a feisty 8-year-old, who has learnt to be street smart, Jugnu. Tracing the journey of these three will be COLORS’ upcoming drama series, Pavitra Bhagya. The show will highlight the complexities of three connected lives as they cross each other's path by the stroke of destiny. Produced by Balaji Telefilms, Pavitra Bhagya is set to premiere on 2^nd March and air every Monday to Friday at 10 pm.

Reyansh (played by Kunal Jaisingh) is a rich, flamboyant boy who doesn’t believe in committing to relationships. Pranati (played by Aneri Vajani), is a girl with solid middle-class values and high morals. The one time she decides to let her heart lead the way, she falls in love with Reyansh but eventually is left scarred and broken. 8 years later, oblivious to the existence of her child from Reyansh, she decides to move on, but destiny has other plans in store for her. Unknowingly, she crosses path with her daughter Jugnu (Vaishnavi Prajapati), who she thought she had lost while giving birth. Jugnu who like a firefly finds light in the darkness has over the years learned to emerge stronger from everything that life has put her through in an orphanage. In the ordinary course of

life, people fall in love, get married and have kids in that order. Here, a child will begin a story, but will it ever lead to love? Will Jugnu be able to make a family with Reyansh and Pranati?

Pavitra Bhagya boasts of a terrific cast that includes Kunal Jaisingh, Aneri Vajani and Vaishnavi Prajapati in the lead. The supporting cast includes Sherrin Varghese who plays Reyansh's Father, Vibha Chibber as dadi Baljit Kaur. Accompanying them are Ajay Chakraborty as Praniti's father and Ruma Rajni as Pranati's mom.

The launch will be supported by a robust marketing plan which includes television, print, DTH, cinema, and digital. On the digital front, the channel has designed a series of interesting activities to engage with the viewers. Focussing on the show’s concept, an Instagram predictor filter will be introduced to predict destinies. This will be based on the predictions that are related to the theme of the show, promoting it in a digital first and fun way. Contrary to her name, Vidya is an illiterate army widow who gets a compensatory government job as an English teacher. But while it is an unfamiliar language to her, she gathers all the courage and strength to teach English, incorrectly at first but gradually learns and overshadows her weakness. COLORS new social drama offering Vidya will not only take the viewers back to school but also generate spurts of laughter through Vidya’s linguistic quirks and innocence. Produced by Mahesh Pandey, VIDYA will air from 9th September every Monday to Friday at 7:00 PM only on COLORS.

Set against Devgarh, a small village in Uttar Pradesh, the show brings to fore Vidya’s apprehensions and struggles as she steps into the role of a school teacher to financially support her family after her husband’s demise. In the process, she has an encounter with the Pradhan of the village (played by Waqar Sheikh) who poses as a big hindrance in her outing. As she goes along in her journey, Vidya discovers many loopholes in her school and the overarching education system. There is only one person, district magistrate Vivek Vardhan Singh (played by Namish Taneja), who recognizes Vidya’s efforts and acts as her support. Ultimately, she not only ends up winning over her personal struggles but also pins down the people plaguing the education system. As life throws curveballs at her, Vidya keeps overcoming them with her spirit and wit while entertaining the audience along the way.
