• New reality show 'Super Queen' to premiere today; all you need to know, Kannada television is all set to welcome a new reality show. Titled 'Super Queen', the reality show is all about celebrating womanhood.
  
• The new reality show will be premiering on November 19 on a leading Kannada general entertainment channel which airs other reality shows like Comedy Khiladigalu and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. With the reality show set for its grand premiere, ten women celebrities from the television industry will be a part of the new reality show as contestants.
  
• Film stars Vijay Raghavendra and Rachitha Ram will be seen as the judges of the new reality show. Rachitha was earlier seen as a judge for Drama Juniors season 3. Whereas, Vijay Raghavendra had been a part of Dance Karnataka Dance series.
  
• The show, which played out on Tamil and Telugu TV channels, is likely to follow a similar template in Kannada.

About the Show:

• It’s about women who have their own stories and how they overcome challenges to achieve their goals. I have shot for the promo show and I’m eagerly waiting to know about their lives and how the show pans out. It’s a show which gives more power to the female fraternity.”

Contestants, Participants:

• Rashmi Prabhakar, Aishwarya Shindogi, Chandrakala Moha, Apoorva Shri, Rekha Menon, Geetha Bharathi Bhat, Rajini, Gabriela Smith, and VJ Hemalatha have been roped in as contestants of Super Queen.
• Contestants will be given tasks and the best performers, based on the judges’ assessment, will qualify for the next round.

Judges:

• Actor Vijay Raghavendra will judge a new female-oriented television show, Vijay, who had previously judged shows like Dance Karnataka Dance, Drama Juniors and Dancing Champion.
• On his long stint in television, Vijay adds, “Being a part of television is something I cherish. I believe it is an extension of our work and, more importantly, takes us closer to audiences. I personally enjoy judging shows which are based on different themes.”

Host:

• Actors Swetha Changappa and Kuri Prathap will be taking over the hosting duties of Super Queen. The channel airing the show has confirmed the same by releasing the first promo of the upcoming show that features Swetha and Kuri Prathap as the hosts.
