Convinced they'd be better off raising themselves, the Willoughby children hatch a sneaky plan to send their selfish parents on vacation. The siblings then embark on their own high-flying adventure to find the true meaning of family.

Why bother watching a new movie on a streaming service instead of going into theaters and besides, the outbreak of the virus is still ongoing. Ouch, hope it goes away soon. Anyway, I watched The Willoughbys today and I've got to say, I am pretty impressed with it. The animation, the characters, the visuals, the humor, the story and the morals are all good. I really like the idea when the Willoughby children hatched a plan to get rid of their awful parents who were always being terrible to their own children and it worked but a fun nanny came around. This is one of the things I like about this movie and also the visuals are really cartoony and yet very colorful to look at and it was very great. I really consider this to be one of the best animated movies (especially best movies in general) out there and Netflix did it again since other previous great animated films like The Little Prince, Next Gen, Klaus, and A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon. I really recommend anyone to watch this wonderful animated comedy film, it's great. I give The Willoughbys a 9.8/10

Forte was age 32 before he came to the public's attention on Saturday Night Live (1975), but had been working in comedy since 1997.

Will Forte was born in Alameda County, California, and is the son of artist Patricia (Stivers) and financial broker Orville Willis Forte III (divorced). He has an older sister, Michelle. A creative and artistic child, he was an athlete (football and swimming) in high school and voted Best Personality at Acalanes High School. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in History, Forte had a brief career at a brokerage house before deciding to try comedy. Although he rarely performed stand-up, he joined the world-famous "Groundlings" and was hired as a writer for the series The Jenny McCarthy Show (1997), The Army Show, and The David Letterman Show. He eventually caught the attention of Carsey-Werner executive Tom Werner when he wrote a pilot about two childlike idiot brothers (eventually turned into the film, The Brothers Solomon (2007)) and was hired for the shows 3rd Rock from the Sun (1996) and That '70s Show (1998). In 2002, Forte moved from his home state of California to New York City to join Saturday Night Live (1975) as a writer and cast member. Although known as shy and reserved in his personal life, Forte was one of the individuals responsible for the shows move to absurd, surrealist comedy. Along with voice-over acting, guest appearances on television and small roles in films, Forte had his biggest opportunities to be a movie star with films he wrote. Forte wrote the screenplay for The Brothers Solomon (2007) (and had the leading role of childlike "Dean Solomon") and played the title role and co-wrote the SNL film MacGruber (2010). Both films were given small budgets ($10,000,000 each) and they were both considered box-office and critical failures, although they do have a cult following.

After MacGruber's theatrical release, Forte left SNL for personal and professional reasons, although he has returned as a guest performer. Forte has had a recurring role on the series 30 Rock and made numerous other guest appearances on other TV comedies. After leaving SNL, he increased his work as a voice artist and appeared in many films, including A Good Old Fashioned Orgy (2011), Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie (2012), Rock of Ages (2012), That's My Boy (2012), and The Watch (2012).

Since 2012, he has moved into dramatic and straight roles on a television pilot titled Rebounding by the producers of Modern Family and Irish film Run and Jump. In August 2012, he was cast in the Alexander Payne film Nebraska (2013), beating out higher-profile actors such as Casey Affleck and Paul Rudd.

From 2015 to 2018, he starred on, and as The Last Man on Earth (2015), a television sitcom. In 2018, he headlined as National Lampoon co-creator Douglas Kenney in the biographical film A Futile and Stupid Gesture (2018). Maya Rudolph was born on July 27, 1972 in Gainesville, Florida, to Richard Rudolph, a music producer, and soul singer Minnie Riperton. Her mother was African-American and her father is Ashkenazi Jewish (from a family from Lithuania, Russia, Germany, and Hungary). In 1973, Maya, her parents, and her older brother, Marc Rudolph, moved to California to further Minnie's music career. Here Minnie recorded "Lovin' You", her most famous single, in which one can hear her sing "Maya, Maya, Maya" at the end of the song; Riperton said that the song was used as a lullaby for Maya.

During adolescence, Maya attended St. Augustine by the Sea School, where she met childhood friend, Gwyneth Paltrow. The Paltrows and the Rudolphs became family friends and, in 2000, Richard Rudolph and Maya filled the role of music supervisors on the Bruce Paltrow-directed film Duets (2000), which starred Gwyneth.

In 1990, Maya enrolled at the University of California at Santa Cruz, majoring in photography. It was here that Maya formed the band "Supersauce" with fellow students. Maya has four children with her partner, filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson.

Alessia Cara was born in Toronto, Canada on July 11, 1996. The Canadian songstress started off by producing acoustic cover songs, before she was later signed to Def Jam Recordings. Her debut album Know-it-All reached number 8 in the Canadian charts and number 9 on the Billboard 200 in the USA; the album's third single "Scars to Your Beautiful" reached number 8 in the US charts. In 2017, she and Russian DJ Zed collaborated on the single "Stay". She has received four Grammy nominations, including one for Best New Artist.

Musically, Cara performs in dance and R&B, but also performs in soul and indie pop.

Terry Crews was born in Flint, Michigan, to Patricia and Terry Crews Sr. He earned an art excellence scholarship to attend Western Michigan University and also earned a full-ride athletic scholarship to play football. Crews was an All-Conference defensive end, and was a major contributor on the 1988 MAC champion WMU Broncos. His college success was rewarded in 1991, when he was drafted by the NFL's Los Angeles Rams.

Crews played six years in the NFL, with stints at the L.A. Rams, San Diego Chargers , Rhein Fire (NFL Europe-Germany), Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles. While in the NFL, used his art talent by painting a line of NFL licensed lithographs for Sierra Sun Editions.

In 1996, Crews co-wrote and co-produced the independent feature film "Young Boys Incorporated" (1996).

Crews retired from the NFL in 1997 and moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Crews's first break came in 1999, when he auditioned for the extreme sports show called Battle Dome (1999), with other actor-athletes from around the country. Crews was chosen to be a series regular, known as the urban warrior T-Money.

In 2000, Crews made his big-screen debut in The 6th Day (2000). Since then, he has landed roles in Serving Sara (2002), Friday After Next (2002), Deliver Us from Eva (2003), Malibu's Most Wanted (2003), Starsky & Hutch (2004), Soul Plane (2004), White Chicks (2004), and the Mike Judge film, Idiocracy (2006).

Seán Cullen was born in 1965 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. He is an award-winning comedian, actor, author and screenwriter, known for The Willoughbys (2019), Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2017-2018), Phil the Alien (2004) and The Seán Cullen Show (2003). He has performed stand up internationally, and has several Just For Laughs specials to his name.

Ricky Dene Gervais was born in a suburb of Reading, Berkshire, to Eva Sophia (House) and Lawrence Raymond Gervais, who was a hod carrier and labourer. His father was born in Ontario, Canada, of French-Canadian descent, and his mother was English. He was educated at Ashmead Comprehensive School and went on to study at University College, London, where he gained a degree in Philosophy.

After university, Gervais attempted to pursue a pop career with Seona Dancing, a duo he formed with a fellow student. Similar to many groups in the early 1980s, they were a synth-pop act with a somewhat pretentious name and exhibiting a strong musical influence by David Bowie. He has become one of the best known British comedy figures in America. He is also regularly the subject of controversy due to his dark comedy. Some critics have called him insensitive and outrageous. Gervais has responded by saying "offense is the collateral damage of free speech", he has said that he doesn't aim for a mass audience, he's just pleased he's managed to get one, and he has compared his style of comedy and the audience he has acquired with being Iggy Pop in preference to being Phil Collins.

Brian Drummond was born on August 10, 1969 in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada. He is an actor, known for Dragon Ball Z (1996), Death Note (2006) and Hot Wheels Highway 35 World Race (2003). He has been married to Laura Drummond since July 25, 1992. They have three children.

Michael was born in London, England and grew up in both England and Canada.

In Georgetown, Ontario, he chose theater arts as an elective and it is there that Michael says "He found his tribe'. Inspired by his Theater Arts teacher Michelle Mole, he was soon voicing all the school announcements and heavily involved in the high school theatrical productions. He would soon write, produce and perform his own show. He then joined and performed with the Georgetown Little Theater Company and Bramalea theater company The New Generation Players. He later created the curriculum and taught an after school theater program to grade seven and eights. Eventually Michael would move west to Victoria B.C. where he studied performing arts and art history at The University of Victoria. During this period he auditioned and became a member of The Corner Store Theater Company and Edna Browns Dinner Theater Company where he performed in several productions to great reviews! It was in Victoria where Michael was approached by the Creative Director Chris Ogilvie at CJVI and he first began voicing radio commercials, as well as comedy sketches for the station. In the mid 80s the film industry was getting a foot hold in Vancouver, B.C. So, Michael made the move to Vancouver to pursue a film career. He continued to hone his craft at The Gastown Actors Studio and attended regular classes with veteran actor Claire Kaplan. Eventually he would guest star on TV Series such as , The X-Files, Stargate, Viper, Seven Days and many others as well as feature films. It was a chance meeting with fellow actor and now close friend Scott McNeil that Michael learned of the growing voice over industry in Vancouver and some advice to attend a workshop by renowned voice actor and director Sue Blu in Los Angeles who was coming to Vancouver to scout new talent by means of a workshop. Michael took the workshop and had a blast! Later Sue Blu would be back in town to cast GI Joe Extreme and Michael would land the role of Sgt. Savage. Many roles and many shows would follow... With a career that now spans 30 years he's a multi award winning actor who has voiced everything from animation, video games, motion comics, radio and television commercials to movie trailers, audio books, documentaries and television station Id's for KVOS TV Bellingham. Wa. USA and NTV Canada.

Michael resides in Vancouver, B.C. with his wife and four children.

Nancy Robertson is a Canadian actress, best known for portraying Wanda Dollard of the Canadian television series Corner Gas, and for her role as Millie Upton in the series Hiccups.

Robertson was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Robertson appeared in the mockumentary film The Delicate Art of Parking with fellow Corner Gas star Fred Ewanuick. She also starred in the CBC sketch comedy series The 11th Hour from 1999 to 2000. She made a brief appearance in Ice Cube's movie Are We There Yet?. She had a brief but memorable guest appearance on Dead Like Me in 2003. She was also in the television mini-series Alice as the dormouse.

Robertson is an alumnus of the Vancouver Theatre Sports League improvisational comedy troupe.

Beginning March 1, 2010, Robertson stars in the TV series Hiccups on CTV, playing a children's author with anger management problems. Like Corner Gas, the series was created by and co-stars Brent ****.

On November 19, 2005, Nancy married her Corner Gas co-star Brent ****. They live in Vancouver.

Some claims from streaming giant, Netflix with regards to the viewership of multiple shows and films have been shocking and at times, overwhelming too

On that note, The Willoughbys, executive produced and narrated by Ricky Gervais, has been watched by 37.6 million households since bowing on Netflix on April 22, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Netflix on Friday also touted the sizeable first month audience for the animated film version of Lois Lowry's story on its Twitter account. The Willoughbys sees Will Forte and Alessia Cara voice siblings who devise a scheme to get rid of their parents, voiced by Martin Short and Jane Krakowski. Maya Rudolph, Terry Crews and Ricky Gervais also star in the voice cast of the film, directed by Kris Pearn (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2) and Cory Evans.

Netflix selectively discloses audience size for its most popular movies and TV series and counts viewership based on just two minutes of viewing time, which brings it closer to that of services like YouTube and the BBC's iPlayer.
