About the Show, Story:
Helmed by Hansal Mehta and lead by Pratik Gandhi and Shreya Dhanwanthry, Scam 1992, is a financial crime thriller, adapted from Debashis Basu and Sucheta Dalal’s bestselling book The Scam, based on the true-life story of the Big Bull, Harshad Mehta. The show also stars Satish Kaushik, Anant Mahadevan, Rajat Kapoor, Nikhil Dwivedi, KK Raina and Lalit Parimoo amongst others. The series is produced for Applause by Studio Next.

Voot Select have an absolute winner in the form of Asur and relatively good shows in the form of The Raikar Case and Illegal, and now we have, a re-branded and new Sony Liv coming up with its own set.



While many are currently fearing how there might be a dearth of content soon owing to the continued effects of coronavirus pandemic, it cannot be forgotten that an array of shows and films have already been shot and ready to roll, where some of them will even be coming on leading streaming platforms soon.

Even though Amazon Prime Video and Netflix are indeed way above in the competition of streamers, multiple platforms are trying their hand at new content with new shows coming in to and fro. Recently we saw, Voot Select have an absolute winner in the form of Asur and relatively good shows in the form of The Raikar Case and Illegal, and now we have, a re-branded and new Sony Liv coming up with its own set.

The promo of the same was recently released and with some really popular actors and creators, the shows do look promising. Shows called Undekhi, Your Honor, Avrodh and S.O.T (Surgical Operations Team), Scam 1992 - The Harshad Mehta Story are amongst top draws for the streamer apart from some popular English content too.

Popular names like Jimmy Shergill, Amit Sadh, Varun Badola, and now-web darling, Sharib Hashmi are all a part of these shows in one capacity or other.
