What happened to Black and Decker brand?

On March 12, 2010, Black & Decker was acquired by Stanley Works to become Stanley Black & Decker. It remains as a wholly owned subsidiary of that company.

The most of black and decker reviews do not mention this info, thank you for reminding about it. I still consider this brand the best supplier of home appliances and garden tools, but I never followed the news about the company.
