Not Shivanjali! Ammayariyathe's Ambadi and Alina are the favourite reel jodi of Malayalam TV audience

Malayalam TV has witnessed many on-screen couples who became a sensation among fans. However, do you know which one has been the most favorite Jodi? Well, here is the answer.
Recently, ETimes TV conducted a poll on the official Instagram account to find the most favorite on-screen pair of Malayalam TV.

The options given were Santhwanam's Shivan and Anjali, Ammayariyathe's Alina and Ambadi, Mrs. Hitler's Jyothi and DK, and Neeyum Njanum's Ravi Varman and Sreelekshmi. In the poll, 44% of the respondents shared that Ammayariyathe's Ambadi and Alina, played by Nikil Nair and Sreethu Krishnan, are their favorite. On the other hand, 31% of the netizens rated Shivan and Anjali, played by Sajin and Gopika Anil as their favorite. While Ravi Varman and Sreelekshmi got 13% votes, Jyothi and DK managed to get 12 %.

Ammayariyathe is one of the most popular shows on Malayalam TV. It portrays the life of a young lady, who is in search of her biological mom. However, the romantic track in the storyline between Ambadi and Alina became the favorite of the viewers.

The show is currently facing a dip in viewership and fans have shared that makers giving prominence to side plots has made the show lose its charm.

On the other hand, Shivan and Anjali, played by Sajin and Gopika Anil also has a huge fan following on social media.
