Can you explain why the amount /112,/113 and /3EA is coming as 5160 when the employee is hired on 16.07.2009.
Does this have any concern on factoring and our payroll period is from 21th of last month to 20th of current month? |

/113 is monthly ESI basis nominal it will check against the esi limit stored in table T511 ,
check all earning wage type of this employee. then go to table v_512w_d and check what are the wage types ticked against 13 cumulation class. it looks like his ESI basis nominal for this month is coming 5130. because wage type was prorating. |

If he's hired on 16.07.2009 the days in the month =16. The total gross=10000.
Hence for 16 days it will be 10000*16/31=5161. But even if /3EA=5161 which is less than ESLIT=10000, the ESI is not getting deducted. In two trial cases for this if the date of hiring is preponed to a date 10.07.2009 the ESI is getting deducted(when gross=10000). Also when we make the gross amount as 9999.99 also it deducts with the hiring date as 16.07.2009. |

ESI would be deducted only if the eligible amount is less than 10,000.
In your case u maintained as 10,000 & hence ESI was not getting deducted. |

IF ESILT in V_t511p = 10000 the ESI should deduct for gross pay less than or equal to 10000.
In our case it was deducting when hiring date is 10.07.2009 and its not deducting when the date is 17.07.2009, |
