Mom-to-be Hariteja is enjoying her pregnancy phase to the fullest. She is ensuring that the kid in her is kept alive and her latest monochrome photoshoot is proof of it. However, this didn't go well with a section of netizens.
She took to her Instagram to share pictures from her monochrome photoshoot which radiate pregnancy glow. These pictures with Hariteja flaunting her baby bump wearing her attitude on her sleeve left a few fans awed.

"Never lose the kid in ur heart ���� (sic)," reads her latest Instagram post.


A few of her Instagram followers have slammed Hariteja for experimenting with her looks during the pregnancy phase.

While a user wrote, "Puttaboye papa or babu ki porapatuna e pics chupetakandi bayapadtharu��", yet another user suggested, "Better to stay away from social media not sound good during pregnancy �� hope you are understood I guess (sic)".

It's new mom Hariteja and Deepak Rao's 8th wedding anniversary today (April 23). The actress took to her Instagram handle to wish her hubby dearest with an adorable picture from their recent maternity photoshoot.
"Happy Anniversary my love," she wrote with an emoticon.



In her Instagram stories, Hariteja gave a glimpse of Deepak's 'daddy duties', too. In the video, Deepak can be seen fixing the cradle. Sharing yet another video in one of the stories, Hariteja made an adorable confession. "Ninnatidaka papa padukovatledu naku Nidra ledu ani complaint chesa ..

Actress-TV host Hariteja, who got closer to the telly audience with Bigg Boss Telugu season 1, has welcomed a baby girl very recently. She took to her Instagram handle today (April 28) to share a video wherein she made some shocking revelations about testing COVID-19 positive a week prior to delivery and her post-delivery struggles. I couldn't respond for a reason


I couldn't respond to congratulatory messages and wishes by fans after my delivery but I've a strong reason which I wish to share as my story can be a caution to some.

I was healthy and active, having healthy food, practising Yoga and doing everything required to stay healthy during my pregnancy.

Tested COVID-19 in the last leg


I was very excited about my delivery and was making so many plans to welcome the little one. But just a week before the delivery, myself and my family members tested COVID-19 positive. This shattered all our dreams.

Doctors refused to perform delivery


Since I tested COVID-19 positive, a few doctors refused to perform a normal delivery. I had to search for COVID hospital, get so many tests done, wait for hours together.

Emergency cesarean delivery


Due to my condition, I had to get an emergency cesarean delivery done. Me and my husband Deepak were all alone at the hospital. We don't have any prior experience but we had to deal with this all alone. Though Deepak was COVID-19 negative, he stood with me.

My baby was taken away


Soon after my baby's birth, she was taken away and put in a separate room as she was COVID-19 negative. I had to see her via video calls. I couldn't breastfeed her also. It was a traumatic experience.

We were all alone


Even after I got discharged from the hospital, we were all alone as our respective parents were in isolation. Right from the daily chores to taking care of the baby, we had to deal with it. Of course, a few friends helped us out here.

I should have been extra cautious


I felt I should have been extra cautious to avoid these circumstances. We can't afford to be negligent, especially pregnant women. Your negligence can cost your family members. Don't panic even if you tested COVID-19 positive, we need to be strong to deal with this effectively. I only got stronger during this journey. Prevention is always better than cure. Please take care of yourselves and your family. Stay home, stay safe.

TV host Hariteja opens up about postpartum depression, encourages new moms to voice out

• Noted actress-TV host Hariteja, who doesn't miss a chance to interact with fans on social media, wished to discuss dealing with postpartum depression in her recent Q&A session on Instagram.
• She wished to know from new mommies how they are dealing with postpartum depression and she received many queries and messages from netizens who also shared their ordeals. Hariteja opined that it is a 'phase' and staying strong, voicing out about it, talking to dear ones, and seeking professional help if needed might actually help new mommies in dealing with the stress.
• She also admitted to having sleepless nights nearly for one year after delivery and also how indifference and trivialising the trauma by partners and elders in the family can really hurt.
• Hariteja was blessed with a baby girl named Bhoomi in April 2021. She has always been at the forefront in talking about embracing motherhood.
• A few days after her delivery, Hariteja announced that she had tested COVID-19 positive before her delivery. She shared her ordeal and how they coped up through a video on her Instagram handle.
