The wait is finally over. The much-watched controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 14 is all set to entertain the audience with its high-on-dose drama. A new promo released by the makers of this show introduces host Salman Khan Khan, where he gives away the date of the show's grand premiere, which is on, October 3, 2020, Saturday 9 pm.


In the video, host Salman Khan's hands, legs are seen chained, and his face is covered with a mask. He says that boredom will be smashed, tensions will be gone, stress will vanish. The channel shared this video and captioned it: "2020 ki har problem ko chaknachoor karne aa gaya hai #BiggBoss! #BB14 Grand Premiere, 3rd Oct, Saturday raat 9 baje (sic)"

Talking about the contestants' list of this season, big names such as Nia Sharma, Vivian Dsena, Namish Taneja, Zain Imam, Aamir Alli, Akanksha Puri were doing the rounds. However, all of them have squashed this news and called it to be a mere rumour.

On the other hand, Jasmin Bhasin, Pavitra Punia, Ramanand Sagar's great granddaughter Sakshi Chopra, Eijaz Khan, Naina Singh, Punjabi actress Sara Gurpal are the names that will be locked inside the Bigg Boss 14 house.

Bigg Boss 14 updates keep coming in and while we wait for the reality show to go on-air, here's an update.



Every year, with a new season of Bigg Boss, updates regarding Salman Khan's remuneration take over the news and so is the case this year as well. While it is true that the actor has not had any releases this year, has cracked a Rs 450 crore deal for Bigg Boss 14 with the makers and the channel.

Over the recent times, there have been reports that the actor is being paid Rs 250 crore for Bigg Boss 14, however, as it turns out that it is not a figure close to what he is being offered. The actor was reportedly charging Rs 15.5 crore per episode last year and this time, he has been charging Rs 20 crore. For the three months of the show, it goes to Rs 480 crore, however, the actor has sealed the deal at Rs 450 crore and it includes his fees for the PCs as well as the promos he has shot. In addition, the actor will be paid additional remuneration in case of an extension, given that the last season was extended by 10 episodes after all and for that, he was charging Rs 7.5 crore.

Khan will be shooting for the show every weekend and will be heading to Goregaon's Film city on Saturdays. • Bigg Boss 2, Rahul Mahajan made headlines when he broke the rules of the show and escaped over the house by jumping over the wall. Raja Chaudhary and Sambhavna Seth abused each other before getting really ******** on the show.
• In Bigg Boss 3, Contestant Kamal Rashid Khan had caused ruckus inside the house which lead to a controversial exit by makers after he threw a bottle at Rohit Verma but later hit Shilpa Shetty's sister, Shamita Shetty.
• In Bibb Boss 4, TV actors Sara Khan and Ali Merchant were paid Rs.50 lakh to get married on the show. The wedding is considered forbidden in Islam, because Sara Khan and Ali Merchant were already married. Ali Merchant's mother, Salma, however, said Muslim law permitted the same couple to remarry as many times as they wished to. Pakistani actress Veena Malik was involved in physical relationship with Ashmit Patel.
• Bigg Boss (Hindi season 5) Pooja Misrra who was constantly bullied on the show was unfairly ejected. She gave her fellow contestant Siddarth Bhardwaj a minor push, which the makers decided to evict her. However, the TRP became really low, as the show started losing its viewership. • Bigg Boss 7, Kushal Tandon and Tanisha Mukherjee got into a nasty fight during a task after Tanisha pushed Kushal and Kushal body shamed and said nasty stuff to Tanisha. Kushal even climbed on the roof and escaped the house after this incident. In the weekend the host Salman Khan was caught favoring Tanisha instead of Kushal despite her unarguably violent behavior and Khan supported all of Mukherjee's wrongdoings.
• In Bigg Boss 7, Kushal Tandon got physical with VJ Andy after Andy made nasty comments on Gauhar Khan. This causes Bigg Boss to throw Kushal out of the house. Gauhar too exited the house with Kushal after she accused Bigg Boss for being unfair towards Kushal.

Actress Shubhangi Atre who gained a massive fan following owing to her character Angoori Tiwari in the show 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain' reveals that she received a call for Bigg Boss. However, the Actress mentioned that she is not available for it as of now.



Colors TV popular reality show Bigg Boss has already begun working for it's next season. Bigg Boss 13 was a huge hit and the fans loved the changing dynamics and the never ending drama of the contestants. The season saw Sidharth Shukla who emerged as the winner but all the contestants from the show became a household name and gained a massive fan following. It was also one of the longest running seasons of the reality show.

Now, as per the latest reports by a leading portal, the makers of the show have approached Actress Shubhangi Atre to be a part of the next season. Shubhangi who gained a massive fan following owing to her character Angoori Tiwari in the show 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain' reveals that she received a call for Bigg Boss. However, the Actress mentioned that she is not available for it as of now.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Shubhangi mentioned that she cannot ditch her producers and channel at any cost. She also added that she cannot fight and abuse and she is not prepared for it, at least for now. However, she doesn't know about the future.
