However, Bakhtiyaar’s family initially opposed the marriage because Tannaz was seven years older than him. Eventually, with the support of Bakhtiyaar’s sister Delnaaz and elder brother Paurus Irani, the family was convinced, and the couple tied the knot in 2007.
