Avika Gor shares an inspiring note on her family battling Covid-19, requests survivors to donate plasma




Actors are coming out in solidarity and showing their support in this pandemic. With scarcity of oxygen, hospital beds, plasma donors and other medical facilities, many celebs are using their social media platform to amplify the medical requirements through their reach.
Avika Gor recently posted some stunning photos of herself only to engage her fans and followers' attention. She posted a long note about the country fighting the second-wave and how it is important for all the citizens to come forward and do their bit.

Here, she also informed that her family too battled the virus and survived. Avika wrote,

“My family has gone through the battle, and it wasn't a pleasant feeling. It was scary. I'm glad they survived, but I wouldn't want anyone to go through it.”
She then requested all the Covid-19 survivors to come ahead and donate plasma. Her note read, “For those who have fought the battle and won it, please donate plasma! It doesn't take much from your body, & hospitals are being very careful in extracting. Whenever it’s your turn, please get vaccinated! It might not protect you from getting the virus, but it'll protect you from the impact significantly.”

In the note she shared, how one can do their bit even if a person has less number of followers on social media.

She concluded the note with a social awareness message,

“I'm not here to preach, I'm just here to request you to stay home (if you're privileged enough) unless there's a really important reason for you to go out. We have to fight this together. We almost beat it once, we can do it again, but let's finish the job this time so that we can all live freely again. I promise you all, that I will also do everything in my power to make a change. And I don't need to say this, but please wear a mask. Wear 2 infact!”
