Janaki Kalaganaledu makes into top 5; here's what actress Priyanka Jain has to say about the show's success



Recently launched Telugu daily soap Janaki Kalaganaledu has made it into the top 5 slots of the TRP charts and the cast of the crew of the show is quite happy about the accomplishment. Sharing her happiness with ETimes TV, Priyanka said, "It feels great to be a part of a successful show. Getting into the top 5 club within a short time is indeed an achievement. Such numbers are always a motivation. A couple of weeks more will give us a fair picture of our performance."

Talking about playing Janaki and the transformation, the talented actress said, "I'm getting an opportunity to talk more and be a little modern now (laugh). But I also miss being simple like Ammulu. Keeping aside the serial kashtalu (problems that female protagonists have in serials), I'm in fact more ambitious than my character 'Janaki'. She lost her parents now and her world is never going to be the same. It is an interesting journey and I'm enjoying it. We are shooting in the same sets of Mounaragam, so it is even more special for me."

Priyanka further states that there is a lot to learn from senior co-stars like Raasi, Raja Ravindra and others. "Working with Raasi garu, Raja Ravindra garu and every senior actor on the sets was such a learning experience for me. They have been a part of many films yet the way they take their work seriously is definitely something our younger generation needs to learn. Unfortunately, I didn't have many combination scenes with Raasi garu but her smile, charm and positivity is contagious," says Priyanka.

Commenting on fans' love for Ankit-Ammulu and her collaboration with Shivakumar, Priyanka concluded, "I feel blessed for their unconditional love. Mounaragam has given us so much. Forever thankful to that. I'm happy Shivakumar
